I create music with Pocket Operators. Most of my tracks are made with samplers. I use keyboards and synthesizers, a good chunk of my music creation is DAWless. I use a minimalist setup, all my hardware is portable. My genres are trance, techno, acid, electronic music, and retro wave.
Some "Tech-House" track I put together
I'll do another upload of this. Probably a final version. This is a piece I put together. I hope you like it. It's kinda in the Genre of Tech house or some minimal house. I sampled some various chord stabs, some acid tones, different synth bass tones, and some various synths for some variation. I put this together in a quick progression having both Pocket operators playing different sequences of the track. I tried to layer the two different builds so they CoExist and work together.
This is a rough upload. I'll tweak it and make a second one soon.

For the Ones who are Obsessed with Arpeggiated melodies, this track is for you. I have a bunch of chained sequences with layered Arps. The Kicks are layered with different pitches and some modulation. The samples were harvested from some 80s drum machines and some Power and electric kit samples. I hope you all enjoy this.

Three samplers, 48 patterns, 128 chain variations. I wasn't sure if it would sound too busy chaining 3 pocket operators with separate chained patterns together. The sounds were samples from a couple keyboards and some Music software.

32 sequences in a chain. The patterns are staggered so the programmed sequences alternate different elements at different parts of the song. There are 4 different drum patches that overlap at times. Boy, I’ve considered getting other pocket operators but never considered the possibilities of having two PO-33’s! Although at that price point I’d be tempted to just spring a little more for the EP-133…but man, I do love the K.O! And you have certainly put them both to work here in a fantastic way!

Hey bud, what's happening. Man, I like the slower vibe to this track. This has a good groove mixed with the drums 🥁. The drums mesh well with the whole sound of this track. It reminds me of a music artist I just happen to stumble upon. I like how you dropped out some of the tracks towards the end but then added them back. Will say the ending was my favorite, and Tom's can really be heard. U know I love my tomtom drums. Nailed it again, my friend. Awesome tune.

Hey there friend. Thank you for your kind words. I was pretty proud of this track. It was actually all done on the first take. I usually record a few takes and keep the best one and sync the audio with the video. Sometimes an original thought will end with a few "versions" until the final piece is picked. I recorded it, hand played what I thought would fit. And it turned out. The combination of the 80s drum machines and the modern synth patches definitely do have character. Appreciate the feedback. Hey my friend hows it going. Another great example of your fine skills with the operators. I like the tempo and 8 beat before you change chords. I don't hear that often usually 4 or 2. I also am curious as to the tone yoy chose for the melody track. Almost sounds like it could be a violin mixed with a theremin. Unique. Great work with the extended mix bud. Hey there brother! How goes? Thank you so much for your kind words! The Lead Melody comes From the MegaMan, it's a sawtooth tone with some modulation, I used the Monotron to change the shape and emotion of the selected tone. I switch between octaves and tones. Sometimes you'll catch the square wave tone when I hand play the variations. This piece was really fun. I actually had three layers of Rhythm that play together. 16 sequences of drum chains. It was nice to use a few different drum kits for this. It kinda gives the song some conflict and emotions when the drums and beat change between chains.

Hey pal! This was actually a cool patch of samples I found! Those drums did merge well with this piece. The funny thing was, I built two separate songs and had a thought of posting them separately. When I pressed play on both of them and synced them up... It actually worked out! I felt it had a nice curve to the ambiance and story behind this piece. Thank you so much man. It was a fun session. I used a various set of patches from some older console sound chips. The percussive layers worked out well. I added some bass tones into the drum banks to add more depth to the rhythm. Appreciate the kind words!

Hey bro! Thank you for the kind words! This piece was a great example of modern and vintage tones working in unison. The sound changes on the MegaMan were unintentional. But it worked with this piece. I kinda improvised on some of the melody. I plan on remixing this track and maybe programming some melody progressions into the sequences. Playing the live lead track was fun though. I wish I had programmed the tones I wanted to use before hand. Thank you for checking it out.
@pocketsizedbeats welcome my friend. You do a great job always. I actually love the sounds older instruments make. The synths all seem to have a gritty deep sound. I actually look for 80s keyboards to use as I like the sounds. Something about analog I just enjoy. You did good it all sounded great mixed together.

Audio is being recorded with a Tascam DR-05x recorder. Ulefone Power armor 19 pro is the camera. YouCut pro is the video editor.
