Carnival Walk in Mainz City Center. This video was taken on Schwerdonnerstag in Mainz, one of the carnival capitals of Germany. Because the day was not a holiday (So many people had to work), an interesting contrast between normal everyday life and madness was created. Here I take you on a walk. We start from the main station in Mainz, then walk through the Neustadt and along the Rhine promenade. Then we visit the cathedral in the old town and walk back to the main station. The route for this video is not planned and I spontaneously walked across the city. Have fun watching it.
