Fairphone does a lot of really cool stuff, but their phones have a pretty big issue when it comes to the bootloader and installing custom ROMs. IMO this issue needs more attention and should be fixed in some manner so that people don't brick their phones for no good reason.

Mine always lasts at leas 2-4 hours depending on what I play. I guess it really depends on what you want to play with it.

It is amazing just wish valve would sort the anti cheat thing out so we can play new cods on deck
Unfortunately any anti-cheat related issues have nothing to do with Valve, so they can't do anything about it no matter how much they may want to. It's up to the anti-cheat and game developers to support proton and while some anti-cheats do, many game developers still won't enable the support.
Well, another OS which you didn't mentioned is /e/ os. Which has also an build in tracker blocker for a long time now. In addition it has fake location and recently the stock fairphone camera app can be used on the fp4. Which should provide all the features of the cameras. I didn't test it, I have calyos on my fp4. I like calyxos because of the work profile, which I use for my work apps. And they plan to provide stock fairphone camera app in next release too.
Actually I did briefly bring up /e/ os. It's a cool project and I like that Fairphone officially helps with it, but while it has great privacy features, its security has major issues. It's really slow to update, particularly in regards to more minor parts of the system. For example their WebView is extremely outdated most of the time, which is not good. As for work profile, it's a feature that I really like and I greatly appreciate Calyx having it built in. However, there are alternative ways to use work profiles and what I am using now on Iode is an app called Shelter.

Everything still works perfectly well. Refurbishment has not caused any issues whatsoever.
The launcher search on places doesn't work, same goes for wiki pop-up on search, Any searches that requires query on API doesn't work. No place website link nor files(onedrive/) is shown. Not sure if this is a bug or I missed some configuration
Place searching is not working, or the mini map or the mini website popping up in the search. I tried all the plugins, nothing showed up on the place search if I typed a name, or geolocation

Why TF is this not working? I’ve found like 5 videos saying the same exact thing but it’s still not working.
It only works when docking it, if your just using the it as a handheld you can not get higher than 1200/800 But if you are docking it. Switch too desktop mode: Then go settings then pick display: Change your resolution to what you monitor or t.v supports, but I would go 1440p and then click apply. This hopefully helps you.

why don't you like it?
I like to use it as a modifier key to do other stuff, such as switching workspaces, etc. I am rather clumsy and if I have only the windows key as the keybinding, I keep opening the overview constantly when I want to do something else. Currently I use windows key + esc, which fixes that issue for me.
To each their own, I guess.

There is the configurable favourites section, which can be added to the home screen. You can pin any apps that you want and they will show on top of the app menu and on the widget on the home screen. The launcher can also include apps based on how often they are used.

You should of getting the RGB backplate with vent and Joypad slips from Jsaux best mod ive done so far My temps are down 15° with original fan curve and 10°~12° with updated fan curve
You would need to use a thermal probe or imaging to know the true results. Your APU temp might drop, but some other components may be getting hotter.
This is why I love Ublock. there's always something that I didn't know existed, or that I don't know how to use.
I am from India and its weather widget don't work well here. Can you suggest me any way to fix it.
Choose "HERE" service for weather. It didn't work immediately in my case. It took few hours for the widget to start working after I've set it up.
I have a guestion, if I'll play this on Linux in Proton, can I play with my friends that are on Windows?

the base is just OMG, simple, readable the things have great logic, Widgets from scrollbar is just huge. But then can I use fast gestures with it? I hate the buttons for main menu back etc. Is there a way to set it up?

Update, I uninstalled and installed the app again and now the battery consumption is normal (it's even using less battery than the standard launcher.)
@@Fhannycopia3 just discovered this app, and coming from nova, i think this is a good alternative. runs smoothly on my lgv50. just wish i can access the widgets from above (scroll down) and pull app drawer from below (scroll up)
