I was looking forward to replaying level 5 to see if it was as good as I remember it being and it most definitely was especially the section starting from 3:06 the flow and pacing is absolutely great and to round it off with a funny broken room trick at 4:35 makes it the best level of the mod. I had the video of Level 1 sitting around for over a year but I couldn't beat level2. I went back to it for like 5 times and finally figured it out. @Dh7348Hz From what I remember this mod used standard graphics apart from the 'skeleton' :) A lot of mods do use standard graphics and if I kept using them then the mods would all pale into one. ( I really like the green tiles and the other colors here except for the bricks they don't look good) Let me guess its the sword in level one that was one of the mistakes

This shows a lot of cool tricks when you understand the game deeply (which few people do 😁) And what program do you use when practicing? I use sdlpop don't feel comfortable pressing f6 f9 buttons to save / load which dies often
@qqww4015 a version of Dosbox that has saves. Practicing without saves is a massive waste of time
For me this is long boring back and forth romp with almost nothing cool. I like to speak directly don't need likes or hearts.
@qqww4015 this mod and other HWLev mods are intended to be played in the 'old way' (not looking at maps , or using saves) and figuring them out by exploring. That means when a level is figured out for this playthrough its not going to be the most exciting thing ever because the viewer doesn't see the process and that is the best thing about these mods. @@mr.crossbreed I tried playing HW without saving or looking at the map and it felt like running around a lot was annoying. And I believe you looked at the map to find the fastest way to make a video. Mods that are too difficult are also not good. Sorry I complained too much haha
@@qqww4015 these aren't the fastest routes by any means as I didn't want to exploit glitches too much. In the end if you don't like these mods that's fine. What's good then if this is not good and hard mods aren't good either? I thought you wanted to speak directly :) so why are you apologizing?
@@mr.crossbreed OK, can you make a PoP2 Reposition mod video? I prefer relatively short and cool mods.
@@qqww4015 I would have to play original PoP2 to even appreciate a reposition mod and I have never been interested in PoP2 so I probably won't play it
Honestly Enjoyment 2.5/5 Difficulty 3/5
Two floppy (or four?) disks on MS-DOS. Getting it to run was almost as challenging as the game. Love it, hard as nails. Sometimes the game would crash in between disk change. Start over and try to hit those keys perfect again. Good luck!
