Very helpful! Only thing I did differently was to leave the old piston-side pad in place and use the c-clamp on it to compress all three pistons at the same time.
i buy one gear from aliexpress , and i plug on the red plug , but the gear indicator only blin L . Do you have the same problem ?
You may still have to calibrate it. I had instructions that came with mine but I’m not sure they work for every kit

That helped alot,but my question is,I just got it installed,but my gear indicator is not running with the gear? Its not reading it right
Was watching another video and the guy had his bike on the center stand and said he had to calibrate it. It was the install video for the 02-05 vfr
you have to calibrate it, there was an instruction manual with how to that I got with my kit

can find them anywhere on eBay just search for your year, generally they rub 40-60$

Would this work the same on a ‘04 VFR?
As long as you have a 6th generation Vfr, I’m pretty sure anything after 2002 was when the 6th generation started
When you had the caliper out, that would have been a good time to lubricate the slider pins?
Perfect explanation video, would have just liked a bit more detail on how you pushed the caliper back
