In the last mission of my first playthrough, I used three gunners, a sniper and a grenade launcher. The solution for me is placing the entire platoon around the westernmost forest. Yes, the one between central and west (your screen's left). Also, I made my bison and wolf do all the long-distance counterattacks. Around said forest, I just had the mechanic restore them while my two main gunners carrying the longest distance gats attack the piledriver zoids.

The axle should have been made of chromoly or a space age alloy. Also, I hope that snake in the grass got busted by MP (military police).

Range is definitely power in the later missions.

Sometimes, you have to keep the bison near your mechanic at all times. Especially when its carrying light armor.

You probably know by now that data discs work as passive abilities. They have been good help to me.

Oh yeah! I remember giving my main mechanic (made for machine guns) and bison light armors so that they could keep up. Yes, heavy armor is trash which compromises mobility.

The first playthrough took me three weeks to beat. Had to use three gunners, a sniper and a grenade launcher. Sluggers, missile launchers (doing pathetic long range damage till the 2nd playthrough) and piledrivers were worthless my first time playing the game.

I remember playing this game and the first playthrough was the toughest. Second or third? Piece of cake!

This game was too hard for me, I got stuck on level 5 o 6 and gave up lol
