About the “Ndeyssane” I find that our people are more comfortable when they see the next person in what they perceive as a setback. Just like the example you gave about Coumba Gawlo❤, this woman has accomplished so much but people only want to talk about what she does not have. I do not know if it is mental or lack of compassion or “soxor”. Same with a married woman who does not have a child, they keep talking about the childless factor when she might just be so content in her home, her marriage with many other aspects of her life she finds fulfillment in. About the married woman with friends, I think there is relativity there. Some people are so easily influenced that they can be victims of home wreckage from vicious , jealous people etc. I think that even if a man or woman have friends, there should be boundaries especially from single friends. Marriage is work and building a strong relationship to foster a solid and harmonious home requires the effort to get to know your partner in many aspects of life. That requires dedication and concentration 😂. We need to work to be close to our spouses , to become each other’s protector, advocate and good lover. This is work 😅. Xel du japp ñar. Once we set that foundation, then we can figure out how to work our other relationships while being mindful of our new familial status that MUST be preserved. About the woman in general, I think we deeply lack solidarity and compassion, for someone who goes through the same things as that person, we fail to uplift each other. I think what you said at the end is correct. It is entertainment whether she prefaces this or not. She prolly has a help with this things or childcare, self-care, whatever as she can afford to. Idk if you've seen this video going around of this girl sending a video on tiktok to her bf telling him to look at the comment section and his was completely different to hers. She ended her video saying no wonder we are so divided, these apps are encouraging this. And it's true. The more we are on the apps, the more discourse around the videos is an increase in screen time, promo and advertising for them. Creators and consumers of content are 2 sides of the same coin being flipped by all these social media companies. At the end of the day, we must not fall prey to the hostile environment they try to foster. Let us have compassion and love for our fellow human being, even if they do not go through the same struggles us!

This is a common issue with immigrants. It happens with Europeans too. Many of our overseas relatives believe everyone in America is rich. One of my closest friends fled West Germany with the clothes on her back after the Berlin Wall split Germany in half overnight. She came here not speaking a word of English and worked as a bank teller at minimal money while living in expensive NYC. Her East German relatives always had their hands out looking for cash even though she was a clerical worker who made nothing while spending a lot.
