LEGEND 8 Color Effortless Rotation!
Просмотров 2 тыс.9 лет назад
LEGEND ease of use. Check out how a basic fan can move the top head of the LEGEND 8 color. Its so easy to use and rotates effortlessly! No user fatigue here!
ive had one since 2002 - still going, no issues - i grease the wheel edge underneath once in a while cuz itll get loud. wondering if that other part underneath ever needs greasing, the pin/spring cylinder (?) that chocks into the wheel edge slots so the platen arm "clacks" into place for a print
Its OK to put some grease on the bearing underneath the bottom stand that goes into the rotary disc. 20 years is a long time for a bearing to go into the slot. There is actually a 54 Ford valve spring inside the plunger chamber. Every now and then one may break which could cause that noise. Also the rotary disc may develop a small crack where the bearing goes into over time which could contribute. You can make me a small video and send it to me directly and I will look at it. Good thing you got a Legend. Most manuals don't last anywhere near that length of time before breaking down. Thank you! mark@antecinc.com
when the micro registration is used, does the micro knob needs to be completely loosened or does it needs to be tightened a little so there is a little tension?
No maybe a 1/2 turn or so. Just enough to get movement Also the knobs do not need to be over tightened.
These guys are great in 2023 and they answer phones people, imagine that. Awesomeeee. Thanks Mark & Dave
Nice machines. Wonderful people and Mark actually speaks with his customers. Buy from these folks true American craftsmanship. Not many folks left here in the USA can say that now can you?
Thank you Rob !
We had one and I called my bro Byron the human automatic I loaded and unloaded he could register a 5/6 color in minutes we had that legend flowing like a merry go round on high octane my all time Fave unit ever worked in that field for over decade .. met the legend in 2002...Antec..Rules...san diego cali
Renee that is awesome! Yes the Legend is incredible and so fast, easy to use! Hey small world. My sister lives in Mission Beach! hahhaha
@@antecscreenprintingequipme2895 bro Byron also lives in mission beach too we would have that thing flowing like m&r auto autos actualy slower than our teamwork speed loading it precision status Fridays when M,was gone most day bossman I would spin it towards Byron so hard and it would just spin like it was free-floating the lightweight condtruction and rigidity of the unit was the shit..and you know what that means here top notch after screen work I went to work in mission beach 2005 on the sand at a surf school 7 Day a week 5 hrs in the water 4 lessons a day for $100 half day plus 100 in tips avg daily owner gave me all the teens and ladies visiting sd..for spring summeri have place in southern Costa Rica, panama also I'm planning on doing some printing here next few years retire between Cali Costa/panama

send pictures and contact info to mark@antecinc.com
I own one of the first ones made. I believe serial number 19 if I remember correctly. Prints like a champ in 2022.
That's great to hear! Yours is from 1992, so 30 years old. You cant event get a washer and dryer to last 5. haha Companies always say they have super high quality equipment, and we actually do. Comments from customers like yourself reinforce that. Thank you!
I have this press with a Little buddy, do you guys sell the legs separately?
Yes, please e-mail me your information $200 for 4 Legs + UPS Thank you!
Just got this machine, I’m new, can you show/tell me the best way to use the micro/ zeroing out?
send me an e-mail with your contact information mark@antecinc.com
send me an e-mail and I will get you the owners manual mark@antecinc.com
Does this press have a smaller diameter than the Legend? What is the diameter for a 6/4?
They are about the same size 8 feet is a good working space. Please e-mail me if you need further help or a quote. mark@antecinc.com
Thank
Make the arm short to minimize unnecessary space.
Its not engineered that way. With 8 color heads up top, you can't have short arms. It has to match it circumference.
Boy, I thought Riley Hopkins were awesome presses but then I found this, just blew my mind how awesome is
Yes glad you noticed what we are doing! With the 2 point locking index, your registration will never move after it is down. Only manual in the world that has it. Quick set up, easy to rotate, a dream. Write me if interested in a quote. marK@antecinc.com 434-979-2626
I have this press. How do I get the patens to lock?
We started making this machine 40 years ago. Sounds like you are missing the rotary lock e-mail me direct with your contact information mark@antecinc.com
I have mine all dialed in and then when I go to tighten the two bolts it raises the screen in the front almost an inch! Even with the pad all the way down.
You are loosening the 9/16 nuts behind the clamp too much. These do not need super loose. Just barely turn them before making the adjustment.
Why does it look like all of these videos were shot using a toaster?
strong machine. please can two persons leave up this machine during transportation by hand?
You should remove the color heads and platen arms for transport. Please call or e-mail with anymore questions.. sales@antecinc.com 800-552-6832
beautiful video congratulations, I would like to buy a carousel of this model, I live in Brazil could you help me, email and store names please, thank you ... aldy2014@@t

You can use 23 x 31 frames. We don't have rog brackets, but we do have M & R. Write me direct if you want to learn more. mark@antecinc.com
Cual sería el costo
How much for a 6 color 4 station?

*I bought this for my brother✏>**imgs.love/MScreenPrinting?Ҡ** I noticed a lot of the review said it was difficult to put together. He had it together in about an hour with no problems at all. He tested it out and it seems to work exactly as described.*
Yes the Legend is super simple to assemble and is the most precise & profitable press in the world! Thousands of people around the world can attest to that!~
Snug the nuts lol 😉
Not enough room for sleeves though.
Yes some smaller garments may not work on this set up, but it handles most.
I actually learned a few things.
Great! There is not a lot required to keep the Legend in good working shape.
What I dislike the most is the distance between the platen and arm - makes loading shirts more difficult and also mounting platens to arm is done by feel but often are never perfectly straight. Overall very good though. No noisy detent is welcome and spins easily. Keeps perfect reg always.
Yes there are a few things that some may like about the press, but the fact the Legend holds perfect registration outweighs the cons...
@@antecscreenprintingequipme2895 I cut a strip of an old film positive and taped it from the platen to the arm so Ts wouldn't catch when loading. Works OK but if it were curved and less flexible, that would be ideal.
@@vintagemxer9165 We used to have a rigid aluminum angled plate years ago.
Almost 4 years and counting. This was our game changer!!
Great to hear!
2:00 “runout” refers to concentricity of a turning shaft. Not the terminology for measuring variances on a flat surface. If you put the indicator on the outside diameter of your turning plate, then you can call that reading “runout”. Just sayin.....
curious if the warranty transfers. Found someone a few hours from me who has the 8/4 version and I'm interested in picking it up from them.
Get the serial number for me and e-mail to: mark@antecinc.com with your contact information as well. Thank you, Mark-the warranty does not transfer, but these presses are built to last a very long time with little that goes wrong.
Ohhh i like that idea
Reeived your e-mail. Will be calling you. Thanks Mark
very nice. is this an all heads down press in the 6/6 configuration?
No the Antec One is not all heads down, but our Legend is. Please e-mail me your contact info and I can send a quote. The Antec One does have Legend micros though. Thank you, Mark mark@antecinc.com
how much this machine cost?
Please send me an e-mail with your zip code and I will provide a quote. mark@antecinc.com
I have this press, how do I set the off contact?
Loosen the 2 9/16 bolts behind the clamp to raise up and down. Also use the rubber circle foot underneath to set the off contact.
Review the off contact video of the Legend. The concept on Dynamic is the same. Thank you!
do you guys sell just the platens with already drilled holes to fit an antic 4 color?
Yes we do. Please e-mail me mark@antecinc.com and I can send you the sizes we have. Sorry for the delay in replying. Mark
