I was almost going to buy the Complete version this morning and then I checked the Gig Perfomer Community site and found out that Giglad doesn'ty really work with Gig Performer. Can you shed some light on this plz? I want to be able to send MSB/LSB/PC and Tempo from Gig Performer to Giglad and then send MIDI from Giglad to feed VSTI's running in GigPerformer. I want to have a setlist in GigPerformer and have it drive Giglad, not Giglad driving Gig Performer. I heard this can be done, but I don't see how yet. :) How can I accomplish this?

I had tried Giglad a few years ago and I was not impressed. It's obvious to see that todays' offering has come a long long way. I am impressed. So, I am going to jump-in this weekend and pickup the complete product. I am confident they have the capability to extend Giglad into the NEXT GENERATION and I am going along for the ride! :) BTW, I love your setup ... it is next generation and exactly what I need. My Home Studio is massive, complex and overcrowded with a B3, Kii Three Monitors, John Bowen Solaris, Waldorf Quantum etc. and two Ketron EVENT Arrangers as well as a Yamaha Tyros 4. Obviously, your touch screen is a must. What kind it and does it work with a MAC or PC? I would love to know how you are using your StreamDeck XL? Why are you using an analog mixer (just curious)? Do you use Gig Performer?

I wish that in a future update the programmers make "on bass" slash chord recognition a separate setting that can be used in conjunction with "Fingered Incomplete," instead of bundling it as one of the chord recognition "modes." I'm used to the Roland E-A7 / Ketron system where you can trigger a slash chord with just two notes (ex: Bb below C for C7/Bb), and major chords with only one note. Giglad is very comprehensive, but it's a step backwards in this important area. Chord fingering is a primary touchpoint and affects the player's workload in real time; I'm not about to re-learn all of the songs I already know.
