Apparently the time Sekiro do the strengthened one mind (the one you release your attack button just after the flash) is just right before Isshin releases his huge dragon flash, so it interrupts his animation just before the hitbox could spawn. You could also interrupt him with the shadowfall.

Yeah, in the Japanese voice he said "猩々“（しょうじょう）which directly means "Orangutan". I am not really sure why they didn't include it in the english voice and subtitles.

@ are you fluent in Japanese? It’s so weird that even though I always played the game in Japanese as intended; Still the translation says nothing about Orangutan’s part in the prothetic limb… I dunno why they wouldn’t put that in the English translation especially if you look back The translation doesn’t even make sense in English Why not not translate it to what you showed Just odd He says…. Hmm… the shinobi prothetic…. That was once…..curious device you have there… Like it’s almost as if he was gonna say “That shinobi prosthetic… that was once Oranguatan’s “ Just odd that they chose not to. Is there anything in the translation that is hard ? That they would choose to do that instead

I am still not that fluent, still intermediate level. I kinda disagree about the translation thing, I think it still made sense. I don't have any experience doing official translation work so I don't know, but my guess is they just wanted to make the expression feel more vague so they removed the "Orangutan" part while still maintaining the same meaning. Hey, no worries, I am a huge fan of this game too! Btw, are you learning Japanese too?

@ yes no I actually understood what you said immediately It seems as if, yes, it was vague enough insinuation, that it once belonged to orangutan 🦧 So yes I agree that it still makes sense… just odd that thy make it more clear in direct translation. And yes…. Very low level though I also talk with some Chinese fellas And want learn more mandarin Although I feel mandarin is way more complex
