    a lot of these so-called masters, chosun ninja included are all about the visual. They are like dancers and stunt choreographers. Having grown up on martial art action movies that exploded with Hollywood and Kung Fu cinema, they want to recreate that the beauty and mystery of the moves that captured their once young imaginations. They have no real experience and their skills are not forms of actual life-threatening combat

    the meaning of being a master is that you can effortlessly do what you do without thinking and instinctually. the reason to be a master is so you can change the tides of history by developing pupils minds into creative warriors. Good offense is better. if you can attack from a certain range then your opponent wont have enough time to respond and you will hit them. also your momentum can carry you. its harder to move backwards fast then it is forwards also.

    This is a valid technique. In my training I was taught to go for the wrist/arm first, and try to gain control of the enemy’s weapon. Limb first, then body/neck.

    That is the best knife combat moves ive ever seen

    • @southernknight9983
      @southernknight9983 2 года назад

      As a fixed blade carrier, I can confirm that those are legitimate moves to stop an attacker with a knife. While your opponent is trying to strike your body, you are attacking the limb that is attacking you. This gives you a great reach advantage as your target is closer than his target. I can block a knife with my bare hands in the same manner, but that does not disable him and he can continue to attack me if I do not do something else right away. With a knife, that block will cut inside his arm or fingers and I can continue with my own attacks with my knife. Chosun Ninja knows his stuff!
