Welcome to the channel!
My name is Alex, but you can call me BattleDrum. For the past decade I've been attempting to become a well known content creator, primarily focused on livestreaming. With no avail on the "well known" aspect of my journey, I've decided to focus on RUclips for not only streaming, but legitimate content creation. I went down on this path trying to make videos until the allure of Livestreaming caught me, however in recent years it shown me not only is it difficult to get noticed, its virtually impossible without other forms of exposure. RUclips has been proven to be, at least for me, the better platform to get noticed for content as well as streaming. Other platforms may still perform great, but not when getting your foot in the door.
So here I am, rediscovering for myself my creativity and passion for gaming in hopes of providing great content for you all to enjoy. If your down for the journey with me, be sure to subscribe! Ill see you when I see you :D

This is the kind of tips im looking for for this game, thank you!
I usually find shadow raid is a really easy hiest to stealth on that offers lots of money, though at first it looks scary, once you figure out the warehouse it's nothing.
Exactly, one of the best honestly
Wolverine giving a review of deadlock marvel rivals and overwatch two
Can't tell you how many times I've been told I look like wolverine lol
For me I mostly just watched solo stealth guides and I’m just naturally good at stealth for some reason
Just built dif lol
@@BattleDrum yeah
deadlock is more of a moba than a hero shooter tho id say tf2 rivals and overwatch 2 are the big 3
I feel that, but more of what's new and current. Tf2 is just it's own fun thing where its community has been on it for as long as it's been alive, nothing new going on with it. Deadlock is just similar with the 3rd person shooter aspect. The MOBA gameplay definitely makes it unique, but it's something I would consider playing instead of overwatch and rivals to scratch that competitive shooter itch
Game played for years feels easier to understand 😂
Nah the game is simple to understand. The feeling I'm referring to is more of the gameplay. The engine and the 3rd person aspect with the maps and even the destructible environment is cool, but something feels clunky. Deadlock feels the same if not better even though it's still in Alpha and not completely finished.
@BattleDrum no new player coming into overwatch is going to think it's simple
@@OnlyTidus If they came from nothing similar; yes. Going from Overwatch to Rivals isn't as bad as Everyone going to Overwatch back in 2016, except the TF2 crowd. 3rd person is easier than 1st when it comes to shooting, Rivals is just a new roster of characters with a lot of overlap abilities, and the game modes are quick and easy to do/understand. Payload, DOM, nothing new in that regard.
@BattleDrum this is very silly like saying if you played league you're gonna understand dota, you will not know how abilities and interactions work which is exactly what happened here to you (as a new player) it doesn't matter if you played gears of war or warframe it has nothing to do with your ability to understand things you haven't seen or heard before 🤣 And I say this as someone who just got d3 with the worst healer in the game and took the time to learn it
Ok I get games will have a variety of different mechanics that make the games different and not clones, but a MOBA has a formula which ties it in to others, same with other genres. I'm not saying if you played one then you played them all, but learning a game in the same genre as a game you've played in the past is an easy bridge to gap as opposed to never had played the genre before. Also, I'm not expressing frustration in grasping how to play Rivals. The gap to bridge is extremely easy coming from playing many shooters including one of it's close relatives like Overwatch. I'm just not pleased to use it as a replacement for games like Overwatch or Deadlock, because I find them more enjoyable.
1. You can force the artifact spawn by standing where heli would drop 2. You can loot the armor by yourself too the card can be put in within 10 sec with the other
How do you not have to react to pagers?
Gotta do pagers all the time. Just gotta get them in positions where you can answer them without anyone noticing you
What about now in December for ps5
Not too sure now. I've seen some updates here and there. Recently they added first world bank which is pretty nice. I'd say look up some other content creators that made some recent videos and see if it might be a buy for you.
@ ok thanks! I’m thinking of getting it for Christmas
@Jovy7pro gotcha, hope the game is in a good state for ya. Merry Christmas! :D
If you're not going to play the damn thing, speak to 1 or 2 people and ask them why they think it's good instead of coming up with these things like "it's a short game therefore it must be lackluster". Yes it's short, but if you enjoy platformers, it's easily one of the best 10-15 hours you'll have had in the last 10 years. It's up there with the best 3D platformer Mario Galaxy, if not better. Btw, platformers being short in runtime is the norm, so it just isn't a valid critique. Astro bot's run time is literally perfect for its genre. I've seen so many people saying that it reminded them why they fell in love with gaming - for the pure fun of it. It has the innovative ps5 controller tech that basically no other game is taking advantage of that just makes the experience that much more engaging than other platformers. Countless easter eggs, countless creative mechanics, tonnes of variation in enemies, bosses, levels and most importantly, it doesn't overstay its welcome. You finish it and you feel satisfied. Rebirth has its moments of filler, drags on at times and Wukong has such obvious flaws that anyone who has played enough games will be able to admit. Performance/graphical issues, clunky combat/hitboxes, linear level design and just a general lack of polish in some areas compared to its contemporaries like Elden Ring or God of War. I enjoyed a lot of my time with both Wukong and FF but they have flaws, especially Wukong. Astro bot is a rarity in that it's as close to flawless as you can get. People did the same thing with Baldur's Gate 3. They didn't play it, they have no idea what they're talking about, but they think their opinion is still worth giving on whether it deserved GOTY. Please for the love of all that is holy, either play the games you're talking about, or put some more effort in to understand things before you comment on them. I beg man 😂
Sweet! I appreciate the info on it. That's great that Astro bot is more of a return to form than the rest of the nominees and in all honesty its not something expected in the market today. Kinda wish I could've checked it out but my only options right now are titles on PC and Nintendo Switch. My gripe about runtime is more of a personal metric I use for games where if its a game I enjoy, I wanna play more of it. I can get behind re-playability to an extent but the time put in for me needs to warrant the price. I've played too many games in the past that were great, but short lived experiences that didn't warrant the $60ish price tag, which deter me from even buying it. I'm sorry if I came off like I was stating that It shouldn't have won because of X or Y, I was inquiring as to why it won based on its competition (reviews, sales, overall reach). I get everyone had a knee-jerk reaction and it was probably because of that very reason; no one played half the games that were nominated. I stated in the video the only one I played was Metaphor but I'm not even halfway through it yet. For all the metrics of reviews and sales it seemed like Wukong should've won, even though that's not indicative always as the winner for GOTY. But I appreciate you letting me know that this was a cut above the rest when it came to returning to gaming roots in a sense. That's nice to see happen and I'm glad the devs were rewarded for it.
@@BattleDrum Thanks for the thoughtful response. It's a common thing I see where people view time spent as the main or sometimes only thing that can justify a price tag and I understand it. But just think about how much a meal costs you. How much a cinema ticket costs you. The meal is consumed in minutes, but you enjoyed it right? The film is over in 2 hours roughly and that's it. You can't see it again unless you stream it or pay for it again, but you enjoyed it right? They were extremely high quality otherwise you wouldn't have paid money to experience them right? I would hope. I don't see why playtime is the be all and end all for games being worth a price tag. Returnal lasted me 40 hours for $69.99 and again, it was one of the best video games i've ever played in my life. Every single hour I played it was enjoyment. There was no filler. No boredom. Nioh 2 lasted me for 150 hours for $49.99 and in all honesty, about 100 of those hours were uninspired filler where I was just playing to progress/level up to get to the really good parts again. Do you really never have a game where you're just satisifed after like 20 or 40 hours? Does every game you play have to keep dragging on for the sake of this idea that some people have in their minds where maybe each hour is worth $1? I've had the opposite problem that you have where games go on for too long and I wish I never bought the game in the first place. Sometimes, maybe not for you, but for some people it's just nice to have a 20 hour piece of as close to perfection as you've ever played. Doesn't overstay its welcome, you finish it like a masterpiece film and think "damn that was worth the money". That's how Astro Bot feels for so many. There's nothing stopping people from treating it like Mario 64, a very short game, where they endlessly speedrun it for 100s of hours because it's so enjoyable to play and get a better time on.
Ahhh I see. Personally for me right now I'm chasing an experience where I can sink hours upon hours of work into to achieve it's goal or my own. Lately its been games like Metaphor, or even persistent online games like Deadlock or MMORPGs. I'm not necessarily gauging dollars to hours played, but dollars to Utility acquired from the game, very economist point-of-view. And I use this for everything. How much utility am I going to get out of this purchase, vs the opportunity cost of another. This then leads me to gauging that cost to what's on the market, and like I said that currently I'm just really into games that take me on long adventures where yeah, some do drag on for a time. However depending on its immersive atmosphere, I can be there all day. Case in point, Death Stranding. Talk about a game that's a glorified walking simulator with tedious missions and repetitive gameplay coupled with a crazy and confusing storyline. But I love it lol. The immersive ecosystem I can put my self into allows me to really enjoy whatever I'm playing as long as the developers made it so. That's what I love about video games is not just playing, but being in it, a part of it. This is also why I don't like playing Battle Royales and the like. Short lived experiences with nothing really tangible to hold onto for the long run. I make an exception to games like Overwatch and Deadlock just because competitive shooters are fun in bursts, but I always look forward to playing a Ghost of Tsushima, Read Dead, GTA, Monster Hunter, Persona, Final Fantasy. The sheer amount of utility I've gotten from them session after session just keeps making me come back for more. At the end of it, people like what they like. I totally feel you, where a short lived experience trumps anything if it's a great one. "I ain't here for a long time, I'm here for a good time", if you'll pardon some George Straight lol. If I had a PS5 and bought the game and played it through, I'd probably say the same thing without a doubt. I didn't play Baldur's gate 3 until after it won GOTY, after I played it I was like "oh yeah, now I get it". Ultimately my vote had I had one for this GOTY pick would've gone another way, not because a PS exclusive platformer just sucks because of X or Y or Z, but because I prefer other experiences over it.
@@BattleDrum Completely reasonable to just prefer longer games. I totally appreciate someone can prefer something like Wukong over Astro Bot because they are such different genres. My issue at the end of the day is just when people completely remove the fact they just don't like platformers and they just start talking about Astro bot as if it's a bad game because it's a bad game. Like so many people aren't willing to just say "As much as I love Wukong and wanted it to win, i'm not gonna sit and say Astro Bot didn't deserve it". But idk, some people treat this like sports teams at times and they don't want to be mature about it. But I appreciate that you are sir and I hope you enjoy the next game you have lined up. Peace!
Hey I really appreciate your comments! May your next gaming journey be a great one! :D

You dont even need to dominate the civs to open the vault on the one that you say you need to restrain them all
If the vault is in the front, you have to deal with the civs. If it's in the back then yeah, you have to deal with the guards at least and the civis wont care about the drill. But for people getting used to playing stealth missions or solo stealth, it's not a bad habit to get into to get all the NPCs out of the way just to be safe.
@BattleDrum on the front you dont need to dead with the civs, im telling you bcs i already did it
@@Blearycolt Not for beginners who've never done it before. I'm saying for this video that it's something for people to practice on.
@@BattleDrum i get it but ive never tried before
@@Blearycolt I gotcha. Generally for everyone its best to practice the mechanics of the game and then see what else can be done to complete it, after a bunch of completions they can figure out that the civs are easier to deal with than they originally thought. A lot of people when I streamed the game came into my chat saying they can't do it. This vid just showed a method easy enough to follow and complete for the average player.
Also Ukrainian Job is good
Thx but i allways get caught because u need to get a keycard who got it?😊
Keycard for Harvest and Trustee is gonna either be on the manager, or in his office. Also ECMs on the security door is an option
def most worth! lol
Average initiate gameplay
Thanks for the tip, I’m keeping this!
can you send me a invite pls
The note said Surge of Power goes on the cards, you put it on Teleport. Wraith is good, but I prefer McGinnis with both Headshot boosters.
I partially read the guides before using them lol. Havent later mcginnis yet, she seems pretty good. Had some opponents play her really well, might give her a shot at some point
check out the "Twisted Fate Card Spam Build - 99.99% winrate" build on public builds. really strong.
For sure, down to try anything at this point
lol
Well guess what happened!
Ask and you shall receive! Lol
Fun Fact: Oda Nobunaga was an actual historical figure in Japanese history.
you can secure items in dumpsters or am i missing something?
It's a loot dropoff point you can purchase before starting the mission in the preplanning.
@@BattleDrum Thanks, I almost never look at the assets unless it's a loud heist
@@terra-ryan ahhh gotcha
Going live today?
nah not today, we'll be on tomorrow
@@BattleDrum sweet
@@BattleDrum you gonna play the payday dlc
Nah probably not, not into DLC right now
@@BattleDrum ):
that dude looks like he was tough to beat.
bruh... he was. Had to swap some gear and charms I think to win lol
Great video, keep up the work young man
lol thanks
This is late but i just love how the cat meows after you say "holy, jesus" lmao
lol pachi would do that IRL
oh man... i'm so sorry
W stream
that was fun!
loving these vids man!one of my favorite gaming series
Appreciate it!
Harvest Trustee, Jewelry store, and GO bank is the best places to practice imo
I've always struggled with GO, such a pain to juggle civis the phone and the vault. Definitely a good test but idk for people still learning how to play
I had the same problem but I got it fixed when I turned of Screen-Space Global Illumination off and HUD>HUD Background Opacity off.
well, played a full operation with some randos and so far nothing has happened. Might stream it tomorrow for an actual test run
I really thought this was the automatons hacking into the Divers data. It happened to me last night for the first time right as soon as we liberated 50% of Dugon
LOL if only. Happens when I fight the bugs too... unless... O_O I think it might be a graphics bug of some sort
Do you play the game to read or spread democracy?
Something similar happened to me in TABS. The cause was an AMD videocard. Wasn't really fixable, problem was incoming from the game itself until devs patched it
I'm running a nvidia 1070, old so might be a similar issue. But idk
READ!!!! YOU DONT NEED TO READ TO SPREAD DEMOCRACY AND FREEDOM! IF YOU CAN PULL THAT TRIGGER THEN YOU CAN DIVE.
lol your not wrong
I think it's your resolution, set your graphics lower but set your resolution higher separately, let me know if this helps.
I've had it set to native but ill try messing around with it a bit
