@Bluesdivine - but OF COURSE i put u/yr name in the tags (='duh'!!); couldn't have done THAT quality of recording w/out u, 4 that budget & in those conditions...so thx, again! Have had lots of gr8 feedback 2 this version of my song, btw...the video is only so-so LOL (= very limited technology @ my disposal on that side of things!), but nice of u 2 b nice about it anyway! BTW will be in the studio 4 the 1st time w/Michael Ruff next week, very much looking 4wards 2 that! Glad all going well w/u!!

@ojms97 ...the voice is me! Thx! (btw my motivation for becoming a 'serious' songwriter (b/c i'd written a few songs since age 5 w/out thinking about it @ all) was that i wanted songs to sing which expressed what i was feeling = it was that simple! I remember making that conscious choice when i was around 13/going thru puberty hell haha, dissatisfiedly going thru my repertoire of songs & annoyed b/c none of them 'said' what i was feeling @ the time; flash of inspiration hit me - 'Write 'em!' ;)

...oh cackles 2 that = EVERY1 has influence, nobody is totally w/out it...even people in the most dire of circumstances (e.g. homeless, or sick folks) have SOME influence; the key 2 'being dangerous' is understanding that being a child of God gives ALL of us power beyond the personal = period...yeah yeah i knwo that's 'deep' & easier said than done; but it explains soooo much about amazing 'impossible' things people have done = they aligned w/the Divine, limitless source of influence.... ;)

Tho' my 1st b-friend got in touch again & he has a STASH of ol' photos of me (most v. artsy & good!) but gawd knows where he's stashed/hidden 'em from his new wife...tee-hee?!

...yeah O Hen i did!! ;) = felt it was x 2 pull down the amateur/1st recording & put up the mo' polished version instead, since there'd been SO many mo' hits 2 it than i'd ever imagined... from viewers world-wide...which amazed me!!! (Of course, that doesn't mean this improved version will get that kind of attention, 2 - cackle!!! But just in case....i decided 2 offer something which showcased my song a bit better.)

His name is Hamilton Dixon & his birthday is exactly one day after mine! What d'ya mean, what's THAT got 2 do w/it?!...hmmm....well just that we seem 2 think alike in lots of similar ways - only he says it all in a Southern drawl while i do mine in my Brit-clip... ;) ...just joking! = he's an artiste - like me - & so is his lovely & charming wife, Carly...heck, U know us artsy types tend 2 be on the same page w/'stuff' = creative ideas/ worldview/whatever...so yeah it just gelled, i guess!

i agree, this moodier version is much more apropos 2 a vampire movie...but it wasn't what the director envisaged, so i had 2 adapt it...radically! ;) ...yes, that Cat Stevens song DID inspire the name of my darling cat-child!!! Being the full moon 2nite reminds me of how she lived up 2 her name by always going out when the moon was full & sitting under it in some secretive cat-contemplation = adorable creature that she was...
