Your argument is based on assumptions and had I not cared about your view. I would not have wasted time posting mine. But neither one of us will see eye to eye so any continuation of this conversation has no basis in logic.

This is an impasse unless one of us can see the other's paradigm. Mine is that someone doesn't truly insult someone unless they intentionally try to. Although one may be offended if they let them-self. It is all a matter of balance, empathy, and self mastery.

They wanted something that the viewer could empathize with. A truly alien society would be to separated for people to quickly relate to. Also it is not an insult to have a society worth emulating.
