Your an empathic woman, they do it for for the love of the sport. They lean so they can take the corners faster, there tires are smooth and they become sticky due to the heat. Nice react girl, stay well and happy.

If you need to have it explained to you why they race there, then you will never understand, it's simply about being the fastest,the best at the race, the glory. It's not about money or the danger.

Connor broke his back when he spilled off the Veranda. Guy Martin also crashed at Ballygary (Ballyscary) the same year. Guy hit the inside wall and his bike exploded, turning Guy into a fireball that skidded 100m down the road on his back. Both of them ended up in the hospital together. Then as soon as they could, they both got back on bikes and went again. These guys are solid. Physically and more importantly, mentally. It takes a special mindset and ability to race the TT. They are heroes because they do what they love despite knowing they could die. They'll have no regrets in life when they say goodbye. Most people live as safe as they can, then regret never taking a risk. I became a British paratrooper when I was 17 in 1996. I've lost friends in horrific circumstances, but do I regret it?... not at all. Peace to you.

I wanted a new years resolution I could stick to, so I decided not to give up drinking, and so far I have stuck to it. 😇

Why people drive like this? Can only talk for my self but it's a drug. Once you experience that adrenalin rush (and somewhat came out good) you keep looking for more and more and finally end up on Isle of man

Technically Connor is too tall, at 6ft5in he has to fold himself onto his bike. That accident was in 2010, although not fully fit, he was racing here again in 2011 he missed 2012 because of an injury at another race, but he's been at every TT held since. He was born and raised on the Isle of Man. Incidentally, Michael Dunlop, the man who beat him, I think this was the 2017 TT, last year Michael became the most successful TT rider with 29 wins, beating his late uncle Joey Dunlop, who had 26 wins.
