Jesus. Even the glorious voice of Luther Vandross couldn't save this hot, stinking shit-turd mess. This was truly awful! They tried to We Are The World it, but apparently there was no conductor to organize and arrange all of these different, don't-blend-well-together voices. Ironically, Kathy Sledge's voice was the most pleasant.

Guess what? Nile Rogers did play in a rock and roll trio. They were called "The Boys" and his other two bandmates were Bernard Edwards (Bass) and Tony Thompson. (Drummer) These three guys ultimately became core of Chic during their heyday. So I think Nile was correct in having Slash come on stage playing a wah washed solo over a funky groove. Well done everyone.

On a Les Paul Custom, and not the hitmaker Strat - why? Maybe because of Slash always plays Les Pauls, i dunno..
