Throwing up some drywall (acquired for a great price) tomorrow to get ready for our antique tin 2" section. I need to figure how to flat the edges of some of the more beat up tiles.

Think I'm gonna have to make myself one of these! I have some questions... 1) When you were cutting the notches for the bottom shelf boards, you drew out the area you were going to cut then drilled a hole in the corner. After that it looked like you just did some cuts with a jigsaw on the corners. I feel like I missed something here. Is the hole because the jigsaw can't make a 90 degree turn in the middle of a piece of wood? 2) You put lag bolts in at the end. Did you do top and bottom for those?

You definitely should make one! You totally nailed it. The hole drilled is simply to make cutting the corners with the jigsaw easier and is not strictly necessary. I did lag bolt both the tops and bottoms just for extra rigidity in the bench! Thanks for the questions, I hope I cleared them up for you.

I happen to be installing wainscot when I saw your video. I found it interesting, especially using the thicker wood around doors and windows. Thanks!
