I just walked through a Macy’s and it looks like Santa 💩 Christmas trees in there 😂. If you want to do a Christmas vlog, then have fun. As long as you don’t play Mariah Carey’s all I want for Christmas is you, because I will mute that video 😂. I liked that wall decor and the mug was cute, you can’t beat those prices. I need to look for a Christmas wreath in November.

I have done that myself, where I start reading a book and I say “wait a minute, this sounds familiar”. This is why I add the books in my DNF folder, so I don’t make that mistake again 😂. I did read How To Marry a Marquis, I don’t remember what I thought about it, because it’s been a long time, and I’m glad you loved it.

At least you’ve enjoyed both of these books for the most part, I just recently picked up a cozy mystery that’s a Christmas book. Hopefully I can read it in December. I got it for a 1.00, so if I don’t like it I didn’t pay much.

I have read a few trad published horror books and I wasn’t scared at all.

I have a Dollar Tree by me and my daughter’s and I love going there during the holiday season. My eldest loves finding things to decorate her room or mini stuff for her dolls.

I’ve been re-watching the first season of Buffy, and I can see how much better film quality has gotten, because the show is physically too dark in some places. I need to get to my local library more often, I know I’m lucky because mine is right down the street 🫣. I donate a lot of my books to them.

That young adult novel would have annoyed me 😂. I have a few YA books on my shelves I need to read one day

I'll hold off on this one until after I read Mystery At The Masquerade. I ordered it and the rest of the series. I'm just waiting for them to arrive in the mail.

I love this series so far. I love the cute town characters. I adore Watson. I have high hopes for Ellery and Jack. Ellery's restoration of the family mansion is a nice arc.

I love Ellery too and was bit niffed with Jack as well. However compared to the love interests in some of Josh's other series Jack is a breath of fresh air. LOL

“Then Lottie shows up….fcking bish” 😂. That was hilarious.

I finished reading Murder At Pirate's Cove this morning. I loved it. I actually enjoyed the mystery part of the story too and I think the writer played fair. I was actually surprised at who dunnit. There were enough clues there but the author was smart by guiding my attention elsewhere. LOL

I’ve never read L.J. Smith. I watched the Vampire Diaries. I have heard the books based on the show weren’t very good

I went into my local Hobby Lobby and found some fall decor I liked. Not a lot of Halloween decor out yet in my area

I enjoyed the Stephanie Plum series. It was good popcorn. The snappy dialog, and Grandma Mazur's wake-going habits, were just fun. I read them well past the 20th installment. But it was always popcorn and I didn't bother tracking details from book to book. Go ahead and jump into much later books. Familiar characters, other Jersey settings, and the perennial "who's the better love interest?" And it's "e-VON-a-vich" Shannon

I’m going to start Johanna Lindsey soon, I’ll be posting a vlog in September. It’ll be her older standalone books, Captive Bride, A Pirates Love and Paradise Wild, so I will see what happens with those. A Charmed Death sounds weird, yeah she’s a teen so she’s the villain? Those perverted old 🍑 men were sleeping with a TEEN! 🤦🏻‍♀️

I wish I had that cover of Tender Rebel, so pretty. I still love the old school painting covers. There are two other Johanna Lindsey books I still need to find (and hopefully I don’t get ripped off for the price 😬).

I haven’t tried the fantasy books i bought yet, I will get there eventually 😂. I’m used to the same genre, so it can be harder to go outside what I’m used to. That Mary Balogh book sounds frustrating 😬. I have how many of her books I need to get too.

They only time I "enjoy" cooking is when it's themed. I have the Game of Thrones cookbook and a Japanese cookbook

I wish I won the lottery, because I would hire my own personal chef 😂. I don’t mind cooking, but there are days when I need a break. Especially because my kitchen doesn’t have a lot of ventilation (old apartment building), so in the summer it gets hot as balls in my kitchen 🥵🫠. I believe Mary Balogh is pronounced “below”. I believe that is the correct pronunciation. I love sprayed edges, and I wish there were more. Little known fact about me, one summer I worked a ride for a carnival, that was an interesting experience 😂.

That’s a shame that you didn’t like the Hannah Shield book, unfortunately authors can’t hit it out of the park every time. Oh well. Hopefully the next book will be better.
