Your review omits the fact that the HDMI output from the Media Mod is not designed solely for the "Display Mod" in the same way that the camera is not solely designed for vloggers. It can be connected to any external monitor with an HDMI input. You can connect the camera to a better sized multifunctional monitor. This help make the GoPro and also the Back-Bone modified GoPro cameras an excellent tool for film makers, educators, demonstrators, exhibitors, etc. You should also remember that the HDMI output is not full resolution (as some resellers claim)but actually only outputs a maximum of 1080i. In turn this also depends (for some GoPros) whether the camera is idle, filming or in replay mode.

Thanks for explaining the gimbal modes for the Hohem. There are many other videos showcasing this gimbal but this is the first one I've found that explains the 4 modes and how they work. This will help me out quite a bit moving forward. Is there one mode that one might use the most, or, can you suggest a few situations where one of these modes might be more appropriate than another?

I have an older Osmo pocket one that does not have a pause feature and would like to know if you pause the Osmo pocket 2 I need to make sure it doesn't make a new file when you start recording again. Sometimes I want to make a short quick video and send it to RUclips and film everything on one file and not have to edit it so the pause feature without making a new file would be perfect thanks in advance for any help you can provide

We have just bought the pocket 3 and I have been trying to figure out how to lock the gimbal. When I press and hold the 5d button I do get the lock symbol appear but it doesn’t lock anything. Any suggestions?

When they integrate bluetooth connectivity to an external microphone, I'll get one...maybe. Not seeing a whole lot of advantage over the Insta 360 x4 to be honest. I guess price is a bit of an advantage, but you lose a lot of features like as I previously mentioned, wireless connection to an external microphone.

However the wireless mic set I’ve got only has a usb c connection; therefore it doesn’t work. I just wonder, why is the usb port on the adapter next to the 3.5 mm hole if it can’t be used? Probably a silly question. Thanks again 😊
