doersnt hanging the air handler like that allow movement, which means it could move when getting worked on or whatever and tear away from the plenum?
Great job 👌
What hackery! Using a Vice-grip pliers............!!
We can not hear 👂 anything
Where i can find that air piston? Can you put a link? Thanks
Looks great! What’s that telescopic lift you guys use for lifting equipment in the attic? I’d love to have one of those, thanks for the info.
Can you show how to get roof curb measurements. ( I know that depends on S and R dimensions of the new unit.)Also running square duct on finished roof
Well you should have started with telling folks to never locate an air handler in the attic of new construction.
I am not sure where you got this information from ? that you can not install air handler in the new construction?
@waisHVAC no you can install it there, sure. It's just a horribly inefficient place to put an air handler and ductwork. Modern efficient design practices always place the air handler and ducts within the building envelope. And from an installers point of view, would you rather service a unit in the attic or inside the living space?
Efficiency nothing to do where you installing the system? to measure the efficiency of central air conditioning and heat pumps. It's calculated by dividing the total cooling output (in BTUs) by the total electric energy input (in watt-hours) over a typical cooling season,
My man, if you think locating air handlers and ducts in the attic does not negatively impact system performance and efficiency, you need to get some remedial training.
@@jackalay23 Mr. Jack, can you send me the info where you found that information because in 30 years, me and million other HVAC contractors installed so many air handlers in the attic. We should all go and sue the manufacturer for making horizontal air handlers for attics,
why did yall not use rubbertex glue and then tape the joints? also r22 txv on coil and you are running 410
did you check the condenser for another factory installed liq drier.
Where did you see R 22 TXV? That was on old unit , We installed brand new R 410 coil, and why I use glue? It’s not a commercial project with 50’ expose pipe on the roof, we had only 2 feet expose, pipe and UV tape is approved by building and safety and it looks very neat and clean
i saw it on the original coil. didnt watch till the end where you replaced both the coil and the cond unit . i also used pvc pipe to run the refrigerant lines in. i started ac repair in 1972 after vietnam later worked for hussmann for 30 years later owned my on company doing grocery store repairs in ga
@@henrybucki7813We use Henry UV white glue on commercial buildings, if the line set is over 10 feet long, for short pipe it’s clean to use tape instead of using glue and you don’t want to drip the glue on the concert especially in house like that ,
Hi .You have no X13 ECM motor so you do not need to install the kit for this specific air handler. You installed the low end air handler with PSC motor which gray and black wires are low voltage and cannot be hooked up on PSC motor speed taps.
Yes, you do. That’s recommended by the manufacturer, you can contact York and ask them pimmedia.winsupplyinc.com Or google it Field Kit Installation Manual: H Series - Horizontal by the way, we have to do what the manufacturer recommends because of the warranty, in case something happen, fan control kit comes with the package, and it’s not extra things that I’m adding,
عملا رائع شكرا على جهودك المبذولة لايصال المعلومة المفيدة لنا عن هذا الجهاز المتعب في صيانته

Good job, usta!
❤❤❤
Each unit hav contactor you no need this
Thank you for comment, but unfortunately, I had to follow the mechanical plan and design provided to us by the mechanical engineers and that’s how they want it ,As I explain, there’s more things will be connected to those contactors , like kitchen hood, sprinkler system and bathroom exhaust fans, because the bathroom fans are over 500 CFM , and the entire system will be controlled by the management computer systems
One more thing for you information you don’t connect the smoke detector to AC contactor that will not shut off the blower you have to connect it to the 24 volt wire goes to the board to shut off the entire system not just a compressor.
Do more light commercial work plans.
Nice and thanks - noise of course! what kind of the anchor nut you used? is it like swing?
Too bad no one can hear you talk(they do sell microphones) pro tip here...
How you hang the air handler ? What you use ??
Where is the auxiliary pan?
Under the Air handler
No auxiliary drain
You are checking with the blower cover off,and checking co2 level ?,but i am afraid you have a cracked heat exchanger.you did not check for that.thanks for posting.
Hey Sir I was just wondering as a person just getting started with HVAC should I refine into sheet metal or Technician side of HVAC? Thank you so much!
Hi congratulations and welcome to HVAC business world, definitely it is up to you and your capabilities sheet metal work and installation is easy to learn and there will be always jobs demand for good Installers but being a Technician I will definitely suggest you to take HVAC classes, it’s harder to find job unless your a very experienced technician, and if you can do both it will be better for you, Good luck
@@waisHVAC Thank you sir I appreciate the advice. This is my second year in university at the moment I wanna either drop out or take it part time and do full time apprenticeship with HVAC I have a few interviews coming up on the sheet metal side one commercial one residential. I did wanna do technician and get into refrigeration side of things but realized companies don’t hire non experienced technicians I would need to do a semester of college also I been hearing technicians within companies don’t have much hours whereas installing you always have an opportunity.
Why don’t you use impact drill with socket attachment for the lag bolts??
Unfortunately I don’t had the socket box with me that day, I know it was annoying to tight the lag bolts with wrench,
would this be the same for a gree model? we hooked up coolbot to it and now getting f0 code
Most likely it’s low in refrigerant or Malfunction of indoor ambient temperature sensor at air return port
Wiring the overflow to the condenser wire is a great idea, but how does that help if you also use your condensation pump for your furnace humidifier? Your idea works great for summer ac, but could lead to a disaster in the winter when using the furnace. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Then you break the red wire (24 V ) the all furnace will go off
For humidifiers or furnaces you connect the the pump wire to the red wire (R)
Hi, can I compensate you for an apprenticeship?
No thank you
Nice work sir, plzzz mintion contact number
You can send me email at Waisheatingandair@gmail.com
What size breaker was that condenser on and was it grounded properly?

Did you flush the line set and evaporator of old oil?
Of course with Co2

great video
I prefer duct mastic around connection, then inner spiral, then tape, then cable ties. You can spilt the insulation and cut duct shorter to allow enough insulation left to insulate Wye.
Hey guys I’m 23 years old and I’m 5 months in on my HVAC career but I have a question how do you determine the size of the return and supply plenum? I asked other people I worked with and some say they don’t know others just don’t want to tell me
You have to calculate the return and supply duct size based on the CFM of the unit. For example, if you have a 2 Ton system which is 800 CFM, you calculate the size of the duct based on 800 CFM, And you will need a duct design calculator, to find what size of duct you will need to give you 800 CFM return and supply, I hope that helps God bless
Is this a foam roof?
What power tool brand would you recommend? I just got into commercial hvac mainly installs and I’m loving it. Not sure what a good brand would be to invest in long term that can handle getting beat
DEWALT
I do the 45 but I always install safety switch off the secondary on the coil to ensure the system shuts down before flood
