Installing an Android Carplay Unit on a W204 Mercedes C300. This is just a tip on how to make your radio fit easier inside the dash. You can spend hours as I did trying to fit the radio back in the dash with all the extra wiring. My video shows a step I took to help me hold down one of the pigtails of the harness as it makes it too bulky to slide the radio back in. You STILL have to work it a l...

Thank you very much for you help! The front taillight bolt in my 2022 Cayenne was a little loose and you gave me great instructions on how to access that bolt and the correct 10mm bolt. Of course I dropped my socket, but the second time I put a piece of paper in the socket reciever and put my magnet in the extension. I retrieved the socket using the other access cover underneath the cargo net. All I had to do is tighten a 1/4 turn to reseat it. Thanks again.

The 2008 Gallardo Spyder is under the damn car by the way... I figured mine would be in the same spot so I took out all this mess and there was nothing there but other parts. I followed the lines down and finally read another post and learned in the 2008 they are under the car, in front of the motor under a triangle shaped panel that is held on with 4 torx screws, T20 I think it was. Problem I have now is, I cannot get the connections on. 1. They are extremely hard to get to unless you have a lift, 2. they are in a hard to get to spot even if you can get to them. 3. One of them is so close to what feels like a 2" cooling line the gauge hose will not fit because it will hit what I think is a coolant line. I was going to jack up the car but I was also reading that you can crack/break the windshield unless you jack up both sides at the exact same time. Pump up one a couple times then go to the other side, then back and forth. Not sure if it is true but was NOT going to take a risk breaking a $7,000 windshield, NOT. I also heard that they maybe a different type freon fitting to but not sure again. I was going to put gauges on mine as the AC will not come on, blowers work but no cold air and do not hear the compressor kicking in, but than again more than likely could not hear it if it did as the thing is f'ing load as H3LL. If anybody knows what else I can check before I find a way to lift it up and put gauges on it that would be great, I know it has some freon in the system as some came out when I was trying to get the hoses on laying on the floor. It can have some freon in the system but if there is not enough freon the pressure switch will not let it come on to protect the system.

Thanks for your video. I have the same problem. Even after the installation of the radio that did not match the COMAND knob, I worked for a few days. But it is not working anymore, I think that since I push the radio with a lot of force I have a damaged cable that controls the knob. I have to remove the radio to check if any wires are damaged. My fear was to put the radio back, since as you say it is a great challenge that nobody explains in most of the videos. Your solution has saved me. Tomorrow I will take out the radio and I will do it in the way that you indicate. Thanks a lot. Keep making videos so explicit, believe me, that makes a difference. Greetings.

The screws don't come out, they stay in place. At the end of the video I mention this, turn them out until you feel resistance and stop. If they come out especially the T15, you won't be able to get it back in without taking door panel apart. Hope this helps
