69 people died in service of the Tomcat If I read the names correctly? A great video to honor them by, It kicked ass
They should have updated them with new engines, new aesa radar, avionics, computers, and electronic warfare suite.
ATB
Man this was a great video I really needed to see it. You work so hard and then they take it away. No sparrows No sidewinders and still 37 to 1 kill ratio. Long live all Cat workers

It's amazing seeing like a dozen F14s in formation together. We would never see that with a F35 or F22. Half of those would be in maintenance
you do realize the F-14 was more maintenance intensive than both those planes, right?
@@ancaplanaoriginal5303 No it wasn't. It had a high maintenance cost but certainly nowhere near the F-35 or 22.
Greatest fighter ever made. During its time, nothing ever wanted to mess with a Tomcat. It was built from the ground up to be a machine to win wars. Proof is in how many adversaries "bugged out" during a dogfight with the F14. It even ate the F-15 for lunch over and over again in 1978 during the AIMEVAL/ACEVAL evaluations jointly done by the USAF/US Navy
Have been looking for this movie for the past year, finally found it. Back in the day, there used to be three versions of this movie. All entirely different.
This is awesome!
