I feel your pain some places came easy to me, others a nightmare. Mainly those dark sections. Most of the vids I have are real-time though unless I say otherwise in it and usually not by much.
Best track in the game

I love the amount of Gears of War clips and vids thats been popping up in my feeds because of E-Day, Gears never died, just waiting for a good comeback.
Glad to make your day even if the audio is bad. Prepping for that E-day.

This is Phantasy Star Portable 1, the first game. The second one has a Blonde hair girl as the second main character along side your avatar.
I got me stars mixed up there 💀. Preciate you telling me. I'll do some fixing with the title.
I'll be adding 2 onto the list to play for later
@myrionagathello9396 You are welcome. The second game let's play will be amazing with your commentary.
I am going to watch your Sekiro play through next.
Many thanks I really do appreciate it. Most of the channel is longform just letting you know in advance. Got some short vids here and there but got so many things on the channel I don't remember which.
@@myrionagathello9396 You are fine. You have a life to live.
Thank you for this playlist. I love you guys' arguments. I can tell you guys love each other You both should do another co-op action game together. Are yall both still friends?
Appreciate you taking the time to watch it. We are just hard to find co op games out there so just been doing a solo dolo for awhile until something interesting pops up.
@myrionagathello9396 You are correct There are so few action co-op games. Maybe try the Payday game series when they are on a discount.

I...I think Doudou is a prairie dog. The shotgun seems to be serving you well as OC removal and neutral ranged damage, you probably don't need the grenade launcher entirely if you want space for more durability or move speed. The other weapon is a missile launcher I think? Seems fine. Anyway, looking at SLAI it's quite amusing how the AI is significantly worse for most enemies yet they also seem to do far more damage
Yeah the dmg rate for even the most random of people is pretty high for no reason. I just wished that they would've found a counter balance for it. or programmed it better in that regard. Something like if they've already been dealt with then the dmg they do is lower. I would've even taken something like more shield spam to deal with as opposed to just getting blitzed after accidentally deciding to ignore someone who returned to the field after I got them the first time. I know it'd be annoying and there'd have to be a fine line for it if they did the shield route, which I understand why they didn't do it if they thought about it but at least it would be something.
😅
What game it this?

It has occurred to me that it is kinda hard to hear me but let me know what you think. Is it just paranoia or am I actually right.
25:32 you seem kind of low.. music and effects soften your voice a bit.
Thank you for the insight. I have the music turned up a bit higher because I wanted to capture the ambience but its a drastic change in volume from the usual series I have going on. Gonna dial it back a bit and see where to go from there.@@Radikus
Just like in Phantom Crash, Repulsion Shield chance is completely random and procs regardless of however much incoming damage it would actually block. The main thing in S.L.A.I. is that the typical enemy, especially at higher ranking, is built like a brick shithouse as their way to work around the notoriously poor AI. See if you're able to fit some kind of ranged weapon into your build or just something good at removing OC over a wide range like the shotgun tuned Light 99 - shotguns are far better in S.L.A.I. than in Phantom Crash. You can switch to different Arenas at the Beam-Port to go to another "server" which also changes what is sold at the vendors. There's more depth to it in that regard in S.L.A.I. Overall, being out in the open is a lot more dangerous in S.L.A.I. because enemies typically do far more damage once they know you're there.
Thanks as always. I was starting to hit a brick wall in terms of what I should do in order to solve my splash and O.C issue. The same arena was getting old for me as well but hey at least I know it inside out now. I will be changing to a different server though 100% until I iron out some kinks. Mobility, and light 99 shotgun. When I start the next episode it's going to be about 7 minutes of me doing minor maintenance or changes. Just a heads up so you can skip ahead to the actual fighting and stuff. Of course i'll put a timestamp in the description but just wanted to let you know.
i wish the game was actually good tbh since this song is really good and it's a good concept but it's just kinda mediocre

You downloaded that save file, didn't you, Squidward? 😏
I had the power in front of me and decided to just go with the money cheat. The stocks alone gave me a headache to attempt and profit from so I figured limit it to just money considering that if it does catch my interest I got the dabloons for it anyway. That way I keep Magatilo in name as well. Don't wanna get overwhelmed unlocking all parts and that just yet. If I do decide against it later and just want to get wacky all in one session then I'll have a separate save for it all.
But yes I have the kill switch at the ready commander

Ever thought about doing like mini retrospectives about games like this. You have the voice for it
Don't even know how to go about doing it but if you have ideas I'm all ears
Blue names are called Crashers in SLAI - basically higher rank enemies who show up at lower rank matches to stomp lowbies...including you. Why they can show up at D-rank matches is another question entirely especially with how completely lopsided monetary rewards are compared to repair costs. As for the rest...yeah I don't know.
It's all good I appreciate whatever I can get info wise regardless.
Ah, so we enter the SLAI arc after all. It's such a weird mix of upgrades and downgrades over Phantom Crash that only slightly make sense from it being on another platform entirely. --- From what I remember, melee got changed entirely in SLAI to the point where your melee attacks differ drastically based on what type of leg module you have. I remember people saying you want a Leg module for the Proton's sword which makes sense given how dismal the performance is on the 3-wheeler, especially given the complete lack of damage. If that's the state of SLAI's rentals then I'd rather have the ones in Phantom Crash that simply only have two pistols... --- Yes, I am for real. --- SLAI is kind of weird in how unless you're using the Stocks nonsense or just using cheatcodes for money (same thing really) you get next to no money from Rumbling to create and upgrade an SV to the point where the game's shoddy AI means they don't react to you until it's too late. You really can't afford to fight to the death at all unlike in Phantom Crash where you can easily make 200K+ on your very first match and even if you get shot down you lose a fraction of it.
Well then looks like I'm gonna become an investor. I find it strange how that just turns into a random feature though. You'd best believe that once I figure out how to use cheat codes on what I'm using I'm going to make myself rich. You know money is a big issue when the crates they drop in the arena are such a big priority compared to the 1st. Ps - Always appreciate even if the upload schedule right now is all over the place.
Cool! Can't wait to see the brokenness you discover here. Clear advantages over Phantom Crash: bullets NOT killing momentum, and a story you can actually read easily, AND get emotionally invested in! Too grindy, and physics are clunky, though. (laughs in stocks exploit). We may have the community balance patch, the Discord and the subreddit, but modding still is anchoring my hope for this game's longevity.
Ah. Tips? Easy. The seven servers are favoring different combat styles: close-range, long-range, and mid-range. Now that there are 5 manufacturers instead of 3, 5/7 specialize in the different ones, with a slightly larger selection of each. You know the power scale for Phantom Crash. The new one, from lightest/fastest to heaviest/toughest: Proton (Photon, server: Tokyo), KHT (Russian, like Charga; server: Cairo), Carro (Holy, server: London), Zwerg (German, server: Stuttgart), and Hartman (Aeron, server: Las Vegas). Wolf Chips are best overall, again. OC scaling is different. Numbers are in tenths of seconds. Option Mods actually do things now. Lasers are no longer infinite ammo, and some even come in pulse/burst/blob-firing form. Wild Machines DOES return, but only after beating 25 Rankers, and only on different days ending in different numbers for the servers. That can be Googled. Lastly, I strongly recommend joining the Discord or subreddit if you haven't already, even if just for more help.
Why’s the screen so squished
Honestly, best way I thought to present it. the other way involves it smaller with black boxes on top and bottom or just stretching it and only getting the middle part. Thinking boxes would work better just threw that up there for now.
@@myrionagathello9396 oh ok
Hedgehog is in the "please buff this" category of weapons in Phantom Crash, worth the try for content purposes but hopelessly outclassed by the SV-ATC. --- Hilariously, PresJin is the easiest enemy in his own class, an absolute jobber who became Class Ranker for ??? reasons - meanwhile GuardKaz is just standing there, waiting for you to finish before he dives in for the follow-up crash...
Roy is no slouch when it comes down to it, it seems. His Gatling gives a lot of damage and a lot of control to just lock an opponent down entirely. While it's not particularly flashy or risky, it's entirely possible to just hit him until he turns around, duck into cover and wait 5-6sec for him to forget about you and repeat until the fight is over with little to no risk to yourself. --- If you ever get around to the Master Classes, Roy comes along in his "Area Ranker" mode and pretty much terrorizes the arena if none of the really scary regular enemies catch him from behind...
Well, there we have it! Admittedly I didn't even know it was possible for weapons to be destroyed in Area Ranker battles, so to see Yuki casually remove a weapon off you three times was...surprising. As you saw, she can hit really, REALLY hard even with just her laser alone and those TOTALLY HUMAN laser flickers she does...her missile launcher has some really strange knockback / pull effect to it that I don't think even Phantagram knows how it's supposed to work. --- Siba is a pretty bad driver for all things considered but to see him casually give you the back and immediately take 30K damage from 2 SV-ATC direct hits was quite amusing. --- While obviously there's S.L.A.I. as the next point of call, there's still a few things Phantom Crash can offer you - mostly the ability to play as the different SV brands seen on Siba, Tienxia and Yuki herself but also getting much further in Master Classes to the point where you're basically farming them. There's also a special class that replaces Tokyo Snow Day after you defeat Yuki...
Congrats! Pretty scary final boss. Too bad you pretty much have to cheese her. At least she's a good twist character, and Kudryavka's story is moving. If only more enemies had AI that smart. Lasers are OP, as usual, and if you ever try light 99 missiles yourself, that knockback will be SOOOOO cathartic. Can't wait to see your take on SLAI, but that is inferior in the story department, and is MUCH longer. Physics are heavier and slower. Money, too. More stages and manufacturers, though. Better English, as well, but just because Konami made it. There's even a money grinding trick before you ever fight, and a pre-completed save file! PCSX2 Nightly is easy enough to install, figure out, and map your controller to.
Many thanks my kind fellow. I'll check out SLAI and see how that goes. I Don't have to worry much on the PCSX2 end of things though. Lasers in my honest opinion are either really good in a regular non ranker match or in the hands of AI with nothing to lose. I might've taken the wrong approach with lasers against the area rankers before I cheesed out with splash dmg in the long run. I say that now but for me I just switched because it made more sense to just get a fragment off at a time rather than burst them down and they safety bubble only to spray before I get the chance to run. Rocket lighting is just going to be a side pet project though. Yuki's AI was almost like a regular person reacting considering that I shoot one bullet and she snaps to me. Makes you realize real quick why she's number one ☠. Overall processed opinion though was that game is great. I can see a little bit how it was a hit and miss for some people back then though. When I get around to SLAI which should be fairly soon I'm hoping that it at least somewhat lives up to its predecessor. Also when you say story is lacking is it just normal who would say that cringe dialogue, cookie cutter plot, or person that should be dead saying they were merely stabbed an inch away from their heart and they faked their death.
Psyco x Billy, which is his real full name in the game's records, is arguably the best A-ranker. Pretty much gotta third-party him. (gang up on him)
SLAI is better about bullets killing momentum, but...turning kills momentum. Yes, turning. No idea why. Blame Konami.
Sadly, the uniques in this game are few in number, and aren't in the shoulder category at all.
And just like that, we arrive at the final part. Glad I stuck with this; it was a nice trip down memory lane for one of my favorite licensed games for one of my favorite anime... even if the content was kinda lacking. But hey, the music is great (I forgot how much of a banger the Chinese Temple track was). Correction: Zeno has the power of spite AND edginess on his side. An unbeatable combo. The 'spite' part makes more sense in the story itself. Anyways, yeah. Fun playthrough. Plenty of laughs. Glad to have been sort of a 'loremaster' throughout; been a pleasure.
Glad that you took the time to either explain some things or watch the vids. If you choose to stick around that's up to you but just happy to see someone get enjoyment out of it. If you do decide to part I wish you well.
Why yes, I AM going to comment on every video despite being two videos behind. What of it? But yeah, Tia, when it comes to Zatch, is very much a tsundere... but it's better than ANOTHER girl who has a crush on him, who instantly goes "YOU FORGOT WHO I AM? YOU MUST DIE" when Zatch, who doesn't remember his time in the mamodo world, mind you, tells her he doesn't remember her. Still, when your nickname in the mamodo world is 'Tia the Strangler', it's clear you might have some issues to work out. She gets over this eventually though, obviously. Good ear! Dufort's VA is the same as Kakashi's... and Folgore's and Ponygon's, but I already mentioned that before. Though I only mention this because of how RADICALLY different they sound. Dufort's backstory... man. I wish I could talk about it, but let's just say the dude did not catch a break. There's a reason why he hangs around with Zeno, let's just say.
Glad to see my suggested strategy is working like a charm... Well, at least until the end. Yeah, if the shield spells (and Giga La Seoshi, which is a spell reflector) didn't do it, Saisu surely would have. Good thing it worked. And yes, when a mamodo's book is burned, they're sent back to their world. They don't die unless they're horrifically maimed with spell after spell, and even then that'll take a while. Kiyo's a middle schooler, believe it or not. 14 years old. Megumi's two years older than him, while Folgore is in his twenties. And about the quarry scene-- I assume you're talking about the arc where Wonrei and Li-en are introduced. ...you know, the more I see the dialogue in this game's story, the more I notice the slightly odd translation and mis-enunciated lines. Oh, and yeah, Zofis's VA definitely had fun-- she pretty much had a similar character that sounds like him in Xiaolin Showdown, so she's had practice, suffice it to say.
I appreciate the info as always. Come this weekend I have the two part finale already prepped and I'm going to start on mamodo fury and see how that goes.
@@myrionagathello9396 Can't wait! Yeah, while Battles was a part of my childhood when I was a big Zatch Bell fan as a kid, Fury was undoubtedly the one that got more playtime out of me. Even though it's horrifically unbalanced, and sometimes downright unfair-- you'll see what I mean eventually. Not to mention, I dunno WHO was in charge of the audio mixing, but everyone sounds like they're in the 1920s in the PS2 version. Still, pretty fun because of the amount of characters.
If you'd like getting more Durability then 20mm / 30mm Armor Units are your friend in the Option slot - they weigh a lot but if you heavy up your legs a little bit (not too much so that you're not too slow) it will give you a good buffer to work with. I like your movement with Asura regardless. --- After Midnight, much like Cosmic Casanova is a melee spam class. Kagemusa hit you with the 3% critical at first but you recovered it pretty much perfectly. Great to see. Also, mad respect for going around on 1HP. --- Atsurou says "I am not for the night. I am better for the daytime." and Xeena says "I say night creature is not always a good thing" Before you vaporized him. Dark Carnival has a few scary enemies like Boowy and Sashioya but you handled them. --- Holy Laser appears at Day 54 again if you want a second one. They're 1.45T base weight so it might be a bit of a tight fit, especially if you also wanted higher Durability. --- You might as well be a bit more liberal with your pistol & missiles usage on Asura - they're not your main damage weapon anyway and you're unlikely to run out of ammo on them before the match ends. --- Shields have a low % chance to activate at any time where you would be damaged (with no cooldown) - lasers apply a constant stream of damage and therefore will end up triggering their shield more often due to this. It's the one downside they have but overall they're still an incredibly good weapon as you've found out. It's another of the reasons why the shoulder-mounted machineguns are better than the arm machineguns - they have a lower fire rate but higher damage, therefore causing the enemy to shield less. --- Looking forward to Part 20, this one was great to watch.
Glad to see that I can still keep you entertained. If the constant clicking from the controller from me moving around is to much let me know though so I can hopefully tweak it down a little bit. Might decide to do a big fast forward to day 54 just for the giggles but yeah the weight issue is a pain sometimes. Love it for being realistic but struggle to balance out the Scoobee's properly because of it. Karito is honestly just collecting dust right now until I remodel him. So expect a complete makeover once I can afford it. Your completely right with the other weapons on Asura though. The missiles are used somewhat often but I need to incorporate the gun in there somewhere a bit more until I buy that second holy. Either that or switch for something else. From there it's just budgeting and making sure I don't have just a bunch of weight killing my speed. More than likely going the cheaper route for that durability though. Ps - Thank you for the compliment on my recovery but letting you know now only expect that on Asura because I can move like a meth head on him besides the whole laser go brrrrr moments. Whenever I use him my ego goes through the roof so I'm more prone to risky plays.
@@myrionagathello9396 I didn't even notice the clicking honestly but that was maybe as I was paying too much attention to the gameplay itself. In terms of Karito / Aeron in general if you get the Hedgehog to Light 99 it plays very much like a shotgun rather than a traditional ranged weapon so that will take some getting used to - the double SV-ATC setup is still good but if you're finding Asura to be much more enjoyable and effective then that's great too - it's good to see you actively experimenting and trying out new things. --- If you did buy a second laser for Asura you could make a point of just taking off the missiles as well as replacing the pistol for that laser and seeing what your weight situation is like in terms of fitting on a 20-30mm armor unit without having to reduce your speed too much via tuning the legs heavy - being at 25K durability instead of 18K gives you that bit of an extra for the times where you end up in silly situations like Kanb@tk23 bodyblocking you while someone else fires at you. Apart from that, using your mobility to run rings around the AI's questionable tracking abilities is part of what the game is all about!
I understood what he was trying to say after the fact
Get the game on sale is all I can say for the most part
So yeah, I'm late to this one. Couldn't help but notice you're getting used to blocking and using shield spells lately; that's nice to see. Now that you're up to Tia's story, you might need to commit it to muscle memory. Or keep spamming Saisu and her rock toss move and hope it gets you somewhere; either or. But yeah, Kanchome and Folgore are an interesting duo. Clearly set up to be joke characters, but they're oddly grounded for an Italian superstar and a duck-humanoid demon thing. Kanchome really is only as strong as his partner is confident, and even when Folgore isn't, they still surprise you with what they can do. W team. Speaking of, yeah, the demons are... whatever the hell the author wants them to be, really. Sometimes they look human, other times like actual demons, animals that turn demonic, dragons that turn humanoid, huge monstrosities, etc. I kind of wonder how Tia will go for you though...
What is that game?
looks like smite
@@aice336 can confirm
Well it's good to see you again. As always, I can answer your questions... --- Didn't even know melee hits can destroy weapons. The chance of losing a weapon is incredibly low by itself but at least it was right at the start so you didn't have to do half the class all over again. --- If you go to Music in Garage after buying some music tracks from Sonic Amp you can create a "playlist" from those tracks which will play during battle instead of the usual "Nuisance - Dunkirk" which plays on loop otherwise. --- Passers-By has an Area Ranker in the form of Psychobilly - the same as the Shibuya A-Class Nightmare Test. --- Cosmic Casanova is the hardest A-Class in the game by a pretty significant margin, it's okay to get taken down a few times. The AI does not particularly prioritize you - but the AI often randomly de-aggros during a battle and if you hit them in the meantime they will re-aggro onto you. --- A-Rank enemies give about 4000NY each when defeated - Aqua Line has less destructibles on the map than the other two maps so you'll often find yourself earning less over a session. --- get gigalto'd lol --- A shield is just a trophy in that context. They don't do anything. --- You were on like 30% and Tuala point-blanked you with a tank cannon as you were driving at them. Pager a Friend has more enemies with tank cannons than it doesn't.
Eh...it is, once you're experienced at this game, and have enemy pools memorized. Atsurou (night), PresJin and Psychobilly have a lot of Gatling users. Atsurou (day) and Mion have cannon users. Shinku and Atsurou (day) have a scary party mix of pain.
