@@anthonyreed480 He signed that contract at 21 years old, he fulfilled it, now he is 48 years old and as far as he is not obligated to anything, it may be that he does not like the life of being on tour, it may be that he does not like getting on stage, It could be that he doesn't like the music that Five made, maybe he doesn't even continue making music because he's no longer passionate about it or he's passionate about other musical projects, the fact that the majority is still in these boy bands doesn't force him to do it, plus the majority are still Only for money we are going to be honest, because when they do well as soloists they never return to their boy bands, the reality is that for the majority it is a job, anyone with artistic ambition does not want to sing teenage songs in front of 40 years old. @FedeCcoco Yeah, he hated the entertainment industry so much that he agreed to a reunion looking for another label, then went on to feature on several unrelated TV shows. Please. Whether he likes it or not, he's part of a group that sold 20m+ albums. That's more than Avril Lavigne, or Craig David, for example. It's a cultural phenomenon, and it's cruel to just thumb your nose at the fanbase who essentially made you rich and popular. Yes, you *do* owe something to the world.

@@anthonyreed480 You speak like a fanatic, he doesn't owe anything to anyone, he fulfilled a contract, worked, went on tour, put his health at risk and still continued until the end of the band, he has no obligation to return to something he does not want to, like Jason Orange he has no obligation to do anything, like Harry Styles has no obligation to return with 1D, product and demand, you paid for his albums or his shows, well they worked so that you can enjoy that experience, they don't have to spend their whole lives thanking you for absolutely nothing,

​@@JamesBarker-qt3pb During an episode of ITV's The Big Reunion, Five were joined alongside 911, Atomic Kitten and other bands, for a reunion after a decade of disapperance. Jason wanted to take part of it, but he denied, as he said through the On Tour season. He said that he moved on and never wanted to join Five again.

​@@JamesBarker-qt3pb He did gave up. For Abz, he said that he participated the Reunion just to struggle for money. Yeah, he was shown that he was living in Lincolnshire, but still struggled for cash. For Ritchie, it seemed that he and Natasha (Atomic Kitten) cheated on their lovelives just to tape for the Reunion.

the world in the 90's was very different though, alot was in its inventcy, mobile phones were basic and computers either had windows 95, 98 or 2000 on it with dail up internet, even the world wide web was new being produced in 1989 but not widely used on a mass scale and till 2000 when computers shifted to lan and wireless connections no ai or ui, econonmy and money all different, cost of living and of course the system of justice and criminal minds alike was all different and in most cases simplier, today its evolved yes its updated but theres more tougher legalitys and with it a diverse set of new criminal minds and opertunists that make our world alot un safer than what it was. i aplogise in advance for some of my spelling. :)

New Zealand was the very first to do this with the Pop Stars reality tv show. It produced the band TrueBliss and Simon has gone on record, thanking that show for all of the success he's had with this format.

I think exactly the same, they were left to deal with it all in the end :(

I think it was some weird experiment conducted by Simon Cowell in preparation for Pop Idol. 5ive were like the prototype for the format. . It was as if to say, ' look I can get any 5 group of lads and get them to sell x amount of records'. There never seemed to be any pretense with 5ive.They had no background story(even a fake one), and seemed to trade of the fact they were a 100% manufactured group.
