Beach Read is on my tbr. I might take it on vacation because I’ll have a couple days at the house alone. I loved PWMOV, but I only read half and soft dnfed it bc I had to give the audiobook back to the library and just never picked it back up. I don’t like her, but Ali Hazelwood has a lot of office romance books and some have fake dating, I think. A lot of people like her, so maybe you will! Happy Place was okay; I liked Book Lovers better, but I am the minority in that, I think.

Ha Beach Read was a 1 star for me! Have you read The Hating Game by Sally Thorne? It has a love/hate office relationship. I loved it, 5 stars. Oh yeah I loved Float Plan, anything by Trish Doller!!

I read 5 books in April because I participated in Book Roasts Magical Readathon. Currently have 3 chapters left of A Fragile Enchantment and I agree with you, the romance didn't seem believable.

You know how much I've been reading this year, welll April was a grand total of 2. The Snow Girl and Cameron Battle and the Escape Trials.

I loved Zhara and Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo! I hated A Fragile Enchantment and Something Wilder!

I'm really looking forward to A Feather so Black myself! Would love to hear your thoughts on it ☺️

February and March were eye surgeries recovery time, so audiobooks galore and read 22 and 28 books(readathon time), Did also read a Herbert book, God Emperor of Dune. Also I am more of a DC guy, I did get into these comic universes when I was a kid in the 90s, Marvel just has had better movies(welll MCU, prior to that mixed bag). My cousin happened to have a lot of Batman, Spider-Man and X-Men comics, and there were the tv-shows of the same heroes.

So, im a bit if a reading novice. Ive never really been able to READ as such. Dont get me wrong im literate. I can read and write but the act of sitting down and opening a book is really dull for me for some reason. Same with movies and TV to a degree. I like video games because using my hands, im actively involved. Now. That being said, I recently picked up Audible and im finally taking in stories i would have never been subjected to otherwise. Ive finished the entire Chronicles of Ixia now, and finished both Fourth Wing and Iron Flame ad a recommendation from a close friend. I would have loved to read crown of feathers, but sadly only a german rendition exists on audible. Is there another service i can use? And any other good fantasy love stories to lose myself in? Doesnt have to be enemies to lovers especially (and preferably without spice... :| ). Just something in a fantasy setting.
