Hey Sloppy, for the flower (Erdtree Avatar) the best way to avoid jank and camera issues is to not hit the body/avoid getting inside it, dodge the attacks then hit the head, since after each attack pattern he gets a very very big opening for you to hit it (and it takes extra damage there). Sadly this is not explained anywhere (they could have made the body not take damage or make the body thicker so you can't get inside of it) so it's kind of a bummer you didn't get to enjoy what may be a top 5 bosses in the game for me. I hope that someday you will have the chance to try to fight him from mid range and maybe be able to enjoy the fight as much as I did! Either way GG!
