🔥🔥🔥
!!!!! Damn I was holding my breath there for second!!! Beautiful and thx for sharing
super cool video, thanks for sharing. What length paddle are you using? I am getting my Recon tomorrow, can't wait. Thanks again.

@@s-dsinger8454 Thanks
How far from the House ?
45 min
@@s-dsinger8454 SWEET
What a blast
I live listening to them laugh!! Jealous!
I’d love to run that with you Danny!!
Anytime
4000 looks rippin' Lots of green makes for a nice ride. Enjoy the summer. ✌️
sick
SWEEEEEET cold ?
Nope. It was 70 that day. Water is cold :)
We are thinking about running this tomorrow. Verde river below Bartlett dam (gauge 09510000) shows 525cfs. Is it safe to attempt/has it been cleared out anytime recently?
I do see a 39kcfs spike in March. I wonder if that did the trick.
@encopapa2 we ran recently at 580, there are some serious hazards currently. We were only forced to ‘portage’, basically River ended hit downed tree and reeds, small eddy pass on river right to pull through. Last rapid before the tunnel. Tunnel is gone
@@scottr1525 We actually ran it at 580 on the 6th! Video on @NClegg channel.
We did portage once and scouted on foot about 8-10 times.
@encopapa2 How was it! I was def not experienced enough for all of the debris. There’s a very very dangerous strainer we got a paddle board stuck on that we had to rescue. We did almost no scouting because banks were so overgrown
That was some ride! Hopefully next year will be just as wet and wild. Nice job.
So cool!!!
great video! I heard the S R was around Cfs at the moment?
3970 cfs right now
What brand of pack raft?
CD Outdoors. He makes them in camp verde , AZ
@@s-dsinger8454 Cool, thanks. I hope they're cheaper than Alpacas.
I’ve had mine for 4 years no issue. Very well made
800 cfs is my favorite level to run the Verde. I’ve done up to 1,200 which was a bit too much.
Thanks for the vid!! Any idea what gage to watch for flows for this section of water?
Oak Creek Cornville gauge
Need to play the old surf tune Wipe Out In the background
I was waiting to see if you hit that hole or went left. "Oh shit!" Bahaha
Is that a Valkyrie?
Nope. It’s a CD Outdoors packraft. Makes them in Camp Verde AZ
Amazing!!! Where did you put in at?
Down the Road across from Jake’s Corner
Sick run! Looking to get more into rafting/kayaking/packrafting and wondering how to link up with people like yourselves? You guys part of a group/club or just a buncha gnarly friends!
Friends now for sure but we all got together on the Facebook group Packraft Arizona. Great group. Hit us up
RIGHTEOUS!!!
Thanks for the perspective, way cool man👍
I dig it!
Awesome 👊🏻
What class is this? What put-ins and take-outs did you use? I think I recognize the put-in?
Class 3/4 depending on flow. It’s more technical
Thanks for posting. River is now running over 1000cfs (early March 2023). It would be deadly at those levels. We need a good 50,000cfs toilet flush to clear out those reeds and trees. I ran this section all the the time. I lost my shuttle driver back in 2015. It is a beautiful section of river. I do miss running it.
It’s at 2200. One of my favorite rivers.
Tks for posting! Great vid. Nice paddling skills, boats, and gear.
is that blue and yellow boat in front of you an old alpacka?
No. A local friend in Camp Verde, Arizona makes them. CD Outdoors
Looks sick. What section?
Bilk Creek to Sawpit Rapid.
What section is this?
We launched from our friends property
@@s-dsinger8454 Above or below the wilderness canyon stretch?
@@landonsawaya he lives in Glenwood NM not sure where the wilderness section is from there.
cfs?
Around 243
Awesome👍 Definitely some new tree obstacles from the last time I ran that section. You guys we’re looking like lumberjacks😂👍
Until cleared and with cfs going higher then 200 it’s going to be really dangerous.
Awesome 👌
Awesome! I think I did this run a few days after this flood. Was running 190cfs by then. This looks rowdy!
It drops fast!
Sick video man! Cool to see some packrafters on these stretches!
Being from Arizona we need to venture!
Great video and thanks for the update. I've been up running that section for the past several years and it's amazing how the the river changes. 10 years ago or so, there were many small rapids and swirls, but they soon disappeared and it was flat watera ll the way to Pearce Ferry rapid. Cool to see some small rapids returning. My modified boat some years could make it past Pearce Ferry but now it seems pretty tough. I be there again in two months and maybe even camp on a sandbar! Thanks again for the great video.
It’s going to keep changing with water issues
nice guy🤗🤗
Muddy buddy😳
Man, I was thinking about floating this section or the upper section this weekend. Seems like I should have done so
Yuck. Water looked like butterscotch pudding
Great Video, been following your videos for the last year. We too are located in AZ and have been avid white water huckers for years, just now looking to get into packrafting. I just assumed you were rolling in the alpacka narwahl. Didnt know about CD Outdoors, we are going to head in there and chat with them this weekend. Looking forward to running into y'all on the river! Safe Travels!
Diana and Carlos are awesome. They are a great company to deal with and local. Let them know Sherry sent you and says HI!
Hope to see you on the river!! Happy paddling
Oh and just a heads up. Call them first it’s by appointment only.
@@s-dsinger8454 thank you, we’ll do!
I am debating sending this next week as my first time in my packraft. How difficult did you find it? I am a competent catarafter but have never gone above class 1 in a packraft. I know it is rated as a 2 but always like to ask for beta before I go
American Whitewater classifies it as a class 2/3. I’ve never done a cataraft so can’t compare.
its a good video, what kind of inflatable boat is this? brand model? thanks subscribed
They are a packraft. Like Alpacka but made by CD Outdoors LLC in Camp Verde in Arizona.
That woohoo was pathetic! Hahaha
Too early in the morning for a woohoo! Lol
