the way he writes lyrics about his life is such an exaggeration of what's actually happening and what hes actually doing like the whole talking to himself in the mirror and only recording songs in the dark, hes paints such imagery and tbh i feel like BEXEY is a character, a somebody who he wants to be. the line about too much happening in his head and shutting his eyes cause he dont want to be nowhere else, like hes not just talking about regular meditation here the way hes saying it is it like the only thing he wants to do is shut his eyes and be inside his own thoughts, like doesn't that come across as such a self-indulgent attitude, that literally nothing else in the world is better than shutting his eyes and being with himself. like if you said that to somebody in the street or a family member they would look at you like a fucking weirdo, but because its in a song its easy to get lost in the fantasy that he is actually doing all these strange and out of the ordinary things to empower his spirit ... saying affirmations to himself in the mirror.. breaking peoples ribs and knocking out thier jaw piece with a baseball bat, getting someone to cut somebody's ear off that disrespected him, witnessing somebody get shot and the girl inside the car trying to look at him for help.. nearly getting kidnapped by a stranger but evaded with the technique, mother taught me young how to evade from a grab on the wrist, also the whole thing about his mother being a female pimp and he being in the strip club sipping lemonade.. like wtf?? didnt he say his dad got shot in the stomach with a shotgun? did the police really come round to his house, tell him to stop mumbling and his stomach rumble interrupted? who's blood leaked on the concrete was it something to do with his dad saying he needed something to fall back on and telling him to be a plumber? like u really think hes punching up his dad... like dont get me wrong i have had a step-dad who i hated and wanted to punch up but i didn't actually do it... do you see what im tryna to say, it very easy to get lost in the fantasy that BEXEY has created.. but like i said i think a lot it is exaggerated, which is fine.. not everything has to been 100% and tbh listening to his lyrics, i really connected with them and i think in some way it helped to stop me from doing bad things that i wanted to do, cause listening to his music helped me express myself internally and gave me some sort of comfort that somebody else felt and thought the same way i did if that makes any sense but it defiantly did make me more confident and selfish and more focused on what is right for myself even tho looking back now something that i felt was 100% right at the time has turned out not to be good at all and maybe his music had an impact of the choices i made. just thought i would put this out there in the world and one last thing what was that insta story about at like 6am in the morning in a random carpark with like 100 crows all sat on the cars... and then he mentions it in a song too, circles of crows around me just sovereign, just seen this from google 'this action has two different occasions for crows.
