You have talent. Anyone with steady hands and a craving to create is an artist. One thing that needs to be near face is both sides of your mask are open to the Dr air.CDC likes all your face covered . Otherwise good work making masks just make then sealed to face.Covid CDC says is like an invisible smoke so see how smoke gets into everything.

Regular LV stencils, Angelus paint, the spray I got from Amazon, and I think yes you can try that on a sweatshirt, it depends what kind of material is it.

Maybe a silly question BUY does the paint leave a smell? Also, how did the mask look when expanded?
I’d be concerned with the paint smell being bad for you since we’re stuck wearing masks all the time now
When you expand it it’ll show the original mask, so if your looking to do this expand it first before the design.
