I WILL add a comment since somebody may have passed your thoughtful video by. My Grandfather also lost his life by suicide. In fact, my Mother, who I must admit cannot go see, was pregnant with me when her Father did so. I believe mental health issues run in my family. There was a sincere belief that my Grandfather thought his cancer was coming back(this was in 1975), didn't want to be a burden, feared the pain, or perhaps it was an entirely different reason not related to his physical being. He had 12 children, with two different wives. His first wife passed on. But they were all related nonetheless! (You sound Canadian, btw. That is not a dig. I ❤ Canadians. I'm a simple, poor New Yorker myself.) I do suffer terribly from Major Depression with Panic Attacks, and other "things" I won't bore you with, as you are genuinely hurting as you are paying respects to much-loved family member. My place of work is being very charitable bc I'm on leave now. My poor husband and elder Sister have been blindsided by me not working and reasons why. I live in my own head and now I'm going through another slow process of getting help here in NYS.I have been scared into taking my medication the correct way, not running out, so I can resume my full time Custodial job at the local Casino. I wish YOU, YOUR FAMILY, & whomever happens to come across my long, but true comment that suicide is just plain scary. You leave others wondering why and so heart-broken. Because of my Grandfather's death, and me being so much younger than my siblings(& none of us 4 have children) it would have been simply cool to meet and greet with 'Tom.' Maybe he could have opened up to me as an old soul. Everybody matters. I can only pray that our Granddaddies are not only at Peace, but partying with the Angels that have fallen before and after them. Blessings from me. 😊
