We are Field Day, a game studio and education laboratory at the Wisconsin Center for Education Research at the University of Wiscosnsin - Madison. We work with the smartest researchers in the world to develop games that communicate complex science topics and research findings with the public. We see games as a new vehicle for high quality science communication and public engagement in science.

Open Game Data Office Hours. David Gagnon - Game Event Ontologies
We need to develop a set of intersecting standards for recording player interactions with games! Here, Gagnon explores the concept of game ontologies, objective collections of game actions that will allow for downstream reusability. The idea was introduced at the IEEE Conference on Games in Milan. See ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/10645573
