I think it's incredibly important to support indie developers, and this one is no different! (www.jasiogames.com/about-jasio-games/ )
Gah! is a roguelite hack’n’slash, inspired by games like Diablo, Titan Quest and Torchlight. It’s focused on short adventures (around 1h) and has roguelite elements (permadeath and also permanent upgrades).

Cool and informative video :)
Thank you so much for the feedback! I’m glad you enjoyed it!! =)
'Click to move' controls should die. WASD is objectively better. I don't understand why people are still making games with 'click to move' controls.
It felt natural while playing it - and with it riffing off of Diablo it makes sense, but I get what you're saying. Thanks for watching! :)
It looks bland. :/
It’s no Elden Ring or Wukong but it’s definitely fun to play. Thanks for watching!
Looks like a neat little game! Thanks for reviewing it!
Thanks dude! Yeah it was a fun play!
Does this look like something you'd play? Who was your favorite character?
ROTFLMAO
love this video dude keep it up!
Thank you so much! I appreciate it!!!
You can definitely tell the developers are jrpg lovers who took their favorite aspects of each game and did a good job of implementing them in this.
the moment i saw this game, i fell in love with it, between the art style and the music i have found everything i need in a game!
It was a really fun play! Glad to hear you liked it!!
So what do you think? Does this game look like something you'd buy?
Change is often presented to us as a formidable challenge, an opportunity that demands we transform into adept navigators, expertly maneuvering through complex shifts. It’s not uncommon to feel overwhelmed when faced with these “growth opportunities,” which can sometimes feel like daunting upheavals rather than promising advances. The reality is that change, especially when substantial, is inherently difficult. It demands more than just a superficial adjustment; it requires a profound reconfiguration of our habits, mindsets, and sometimes even our identities. The key to managing this transformation lies in breaking down the change into smaller, more digestible steps. Think of it like constructing a map from the end goal back to the starting point-a strategy that allows you to visualize the path and tackle each segment incrementally. Approaching change in this way doesn’t simplify the challenge but makes it more manageable. By focusing on smaller, actionable tasks, you create a series of achievable milestones that collectively lead to significant progress. This method also helps in maintaining motivation and clarity, as each small victory contributes to a larger sense of accomplishment and forward momentum. Ultimately, growth is a journey measured by the progress you make along the way, not a race to a finish line. Embrace the process, take deliberate steps, and recognize that each small change contributes to a broader transformation. Your strategy to plan and implement these changes will be a crucial factor in achieving lasting success.
I think this goes for “changing the world” as well. Sometimes people feel so helpless and like they have zero real impact in the world. But small impacts that help others can lead to a larger overall impact via chain reactions. Even something as simple as “paying it forward”
I completely agree with you. The only real way to see the forest through the trees is by focusing one small step at a time
Have you had luck breaking larger problems into smaller tasks? And uhh... more importantly than that what's your best lap time on Big Blue?
That shark almost ate THE BATRAFT
The batpling hook saved me
Really good advice! Loving these ❤
Dude thank you so much for watching!!
Love is patient...it is not easily angered. Love your neighbor as yourself. Therefore, be patient with others (and also yourself) as a show of love. It's not always easy, but it's the way to be. That said, I will admit I have very little patience for people who stand in a doorway. Like, at least take a few more steps so people can get around you 😂. But really, the larger issue for me is a general lack of situational awareness.
First Corinthians! love to see it - Also yes I completely agree, do they HAVE to stand in the damn doorway?! MOVE! lmao thanks for watching Gam I appreciate it so much
Patience is a skill that touches every aspect of life, from work to relationships. It's about understanding that everything has its own pace, and by practicing patience, we allow things to unfold naturally, often leading to better outcomes. It’s a discipline that requires constant practice, but the rewards are immeasurable in terms of personal growth and emotional well-being. Sharing your journey, struggles, and improvements can resonate deeply with others who are going through the same challenges. It’s not about being an expert but about being relatable and honest in your experiences. We live in a world where everything is designed to be fast-whether it’s information, food, or entertainment. This has conditioned us to expect instant results, but life doesn’t always work that way. Embracing patience in an impatient world is about reclaiming control over our impulses and recognizing that some things are worth waiting for. Impatience is a natural part of being human, and it’s important to acknowledge that it’s okay to slip up. What matters is recognizing when we lose our patience and making a conscious effort to improve. This mindset allows for growth without the burden of perfection. Self-compassion is essential. Being patient with yourself is just as important as being patient with others. When you give yourself grace, you create a more nurturing environment for personal growth. Patience is a journey, not a destination, and every small step counts.
Berthier that was incredible! Maybe I should have outsourced this video to you.... :D
@@dadgamingonline I'm glad you enjoyed it! 😄 I'm always here to help out, whether it's brainstorming ideas or diving deep into a topic. Your content is already great, so think of me as your creative sidekick. If you ever need a fresh perspective or just want to bounce ideas around, you know where to find me!
Huh.. I guess Axl Rose was right all along!
I've been walkin' the streets tonight (Yeah) Just tryin' to get it right (Need some patience) It's hard to see with so many around (Yeah) You know I don't like bein' stuck in the crowd (Could use some patience) And the streets don't change, but maybe the names (Yeah) I ain't got time for the game 'cause I need you (Gotta have more patience)
@@dadgamingonline 😂
What are some of the things you find hardest to be patient with?
I really enjoy finding creators like yourself and Dukey that post quality content but, as you said, I’m staying more for the people vs the content. I found you because we might be similar age, gaming tastes, both dads, etc, but I’m staying because you seem like a dude I’d hangout with in real life.
Thank you so much!! That is incredibly kind of you to say! Feel free to join the discord server if you want to hang out with a lot of similar minded folks like us :D
Another great video! Keep up the goo work man :)
Thank you so much!!
Not to try and discredit you, but why are you running your "live gameplay" on an obvious loop, and then going "oopss" every time you die in the same exact frame?
I’m actually playing it live (albeit terribly) - what you might be noticing is hard cuts where I take out all the umms and uhhs that I have an awful habit of adding in. What I want to do is tell you my honest truth and not something super scripted. While it might seem like a gameplay loop, I can assure you it’s legit me playing the game (badly lol) Thanks for the comment!
100% relate to this haha. Its funny me and a friend were talking about this the other day. Although our generation did not create the internet we very much formed it and made the rule book for it. Its quite disturbing really the things we did/saw on the internet back then but I am honestly more worried about the modern "corporate" internet.
That’s exactly it! Thank you so much for watching :D
Netbus, Sub7, and back oriface... LoL 12:55 whats your ICQ#?
I wish I remembered haha - although if we’re being honest I used AIM and MSN messenger way more than ICQ lol
My first internet experience was Quantum Link on the C64, even used the replica version that a passionate group brought back. Don't know if the updated on e is there or not, but a lot of fun to be had back then.
I most definitely need to look into this - internet on the C64 would be insane, the ultimate 80's hackers movie :D
your talking about ms-dos..
Being "unsafe" was better for us.
Exactly! Thank you for watching :D
The program may have been Netbus but I am not sure.
Yep that is correct! It sure helped me win at Duke 3D lmao
@@dadgamingonline It got installed on our school computers. Another "Cracker" kid. I didn't have a computer at home, so I had to use the library at school or the the city library. I ended up cracking their system to get unlimited time, but that was just figuring their password generation system. It's cool we had access to the internet, I just wish it was at home. Let's go Sys Admins!
who remembers Methodus Toolz for AOL? yeah what you are decribing is Methodus Toolz or Methodus Toolz 2.0
I’ve never heard of these but honestly it could have been - AOL chats were like the Wild West lol
I was warned about perverts on the internet. So at the young age of 14, I was telling old dudes I was 12 and female and I have a prepaid cellphone but it doesn't have any minutes. I'd get a code, and then make a new account. It was pretty cool being among the very few at the time with a cellphone, for years. BTW most trojan softwares used back in them days was stuff like SubSeven, BackOrifice, NetBus etc.
@@kloroformd it was Netbus!! Also free cellphone from bad people on the internet! Brilliant! lol
Cool video. I hope you do more like this!
Thank you SO MUCH! I’m really happy that you liked it :)
Want to secure yourself from hackers, open up the command prompt and enter deltree **.**
thanks for the lemonade recipe!
be careful with it, it's spicy
@@dadgamingonline 😅
The best/worst part was that back then, instead of bots trying to send you to spam and shock websites; it was your best friends 🤣!
lmao just hydras everywhere
you should create a cybersecurity course that is based on the 90's internet for sure! it would be an amazing course and would also be SUPER educational for these younger whippersnappers coming up.
I just think it would so absolutely funny to have someone install bonzi buddy and deal with it
Would you take a cybersecurity course based on internetting in the mid to late 90s?
It’s funny how playing games on the Commodore 64, DOS, and Windows is what drove us to learn how to use computers. The more we could learn, the easier it became to play more games!
even more crazy is how we may have had the same commodore 64 hahaha
@@dadgamingonline Hahahaha yeah!!
Damn I use to play this!!

Broccoli sucks im with yea as a fellow picky eater. Yet the themes of this video about trying new things and not being afraid of failure when starting out are very important to our development as humans. Keep talking and putting out vids. Sub +1
+1 to the broccoli hater club :D Welcome to the channel, so glad to have you here :D
the title was already a good message, sometimes we just forget about those things, being worried all the time because we dont see the results.
Thank you! Yes exactly - I find myself often looking back instead of forward and this is a great way to hold myself accountable!
you could turn your videos into one of those simple philosofical animated videos, and you could even have a podcast too.
Thank you so much for your kind words!!
Trying new things is super important - a huge aspect of growing your confidence and being comfy in your own skin is knowing yourself, and you get to know yourself by trying different things and seeing how you go in different situations. It’s like you unlock something new in your head, it’s great.
I completely agree!! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts - this is exactly what I’m talking about!!
I think a better analogy for giving things a new try would be your experience with Star Trek (because it’s already happened). Whereas the Lord of The Rings thing is still “to be seen”
Thats a very good point - I wish I had thought of that earlier. Maybe I should do a video on why ST is better than SW....
Also Lord of The Rings sucks hahaha
I've never liked the story of Frodo Baggins, but the world of LotR is fascinating haha
When I started training martial arts over 10 years ago; I was terrified. I remember thinking that I should just turn the car around, “what am I doing!?”. And because I did it; my life changed for the better forever! Ever since then, I LOVE that feeling of being afraid to do something since it had such a positive impact on my life. It’s a big part of why I travel to so many different places, experiences new cultures, foods, and lifestyles.
Yes dude! This is the way to go. I chicken out a lot but I'm still learning how to push through that wall. thanks brotha.
So - What are your feelings on broccoli?
broccoli is one of the best veggies, both for you and in taste.
I love broccoli! There’s so many ways to prepare it as well. Steamed, baked, raw; all have completely different consistencies and flavors.
Love it. I too am doing a "meta" approach to my community. I am a game dev, but I found almost no valid constructive criticisms when I was sharing my game's progress. SO... I made a format where I do weekly game feedback streams! Cheers. I love channels that give back.
Thank you so much! Yes it is a hard world out there for you guys - I’ll check out some of your games !
Holy crap, I love the vibe of this video! As someone who tried doing Twitch and RUclips at the same time, I know how difficult it can be, but you'd make some killer let's plays. I just love this raw and honest commentary, and that you're doing it for the right reason (yourself).
Thank you so much!! I can’t tell you how amazing that makes me feel. Have an amazing day thank you for commenting :)
Creators also know that no matter how long you create content, even some of your die hards will fall off. I’ve had it happen, I’m sure Dukey has, and so have you. We know how volatile these platforms are, but your friends can definitely do more than just verbally support what you do.
This is so true Soldier - Thank you so much for commenting!
