Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke Custom Clamping system

While it's truly amazing, this premium force feedback yoke does not come with any clamping system. In this video I demonstrate how I made it work with some generic clamps. Download stl here: www.thingiverse.com/thing:6184913 0:00 Intro 1:51 Clamps 2:22 3D Printed adapter 3:36 Stress test 4:25 Outro
Captain Nemo's Pipe Organ - Lumen Experiment

www.arrrt.io/a/nautilus-pipe-organ Been playing around with UE5 and Lumen. A few shots here showing the result. Certainly not perfect, but I could get away with way fewer light source than the traditional method.
Playing Captain Nemo's Pipe Organ (UE4)

Well done.
very nice soft ! ability to use it on simracing game ? many thx !
Any game on SteamVR
@@jonmabec many thx
I mounted 4 neodymium circular magnets onto the 4 metal tabs on the yoke. Then I mounted (nailed) a thin sheet of steel on my desktop. I can pull the yoke out and it "sticks" to the sheet of steel with plenty of force to hold it. But I can remove it if needed. I cover the sheet of steel with a large mousepad when not in use.
I wonder if the Honeycomb Yoke Table Clamps fit the Brunner slots?
No. I tried that. Previously owned a Honeycomb.
@@jonmabec appreciate your reply. Strange that Brunner don't provide any clamp.
Thanks for posting this on Thingiverse too! Hopefully it will also fit the MK2 yoke.
Sadly, it does not. The MK2 has completely different mounting brackets. :(

I like idea of better resolution cameras support. But I need OpenXR support . I hope author can provide that - perhaps using OoenXR layers
Comptine d'un Autre été Or 'Nursery Rhyme from Another Summer'
Great video! I just posted something similar using the Varjo XR-3: ruclips.net/video/PTnhfRA-TKw/видео.html
Its shit because it doesn't work with Quest 2 the MOST POPULAR headset on the market 🤷♂️🙄
The reason Quest is not supported is because it does not allow the cameras to be accessed by a third party. This will change in the future when this app will have support for external webams, making it work with any headset.
It doesnt work because facebook locked down the Quest unlike other manufacturers. You get what you pay for
E se voce simular um voo real enquanto voa esse vôo na vida real
Dude, I keep on forgetting that this is VR!!! The graphics are INSANE!!!
superb
props to go get the beefiest pc for the game
Can anyone tell me what pc to buy for sim & VR gaming ? I have the money just waiting to be spent on a great flight sim setup and don’t want to buy anything inferior. I’d appreciate name brands if possible. Thanks.
AMD Ryzen 5800x3D / Nvidia RTX 3080 / 32GB of DDR4
@@grissomplays2546 bad advice right there
Amd is trash. He said he wanted the best, not the poor mans computer @@grissomplays2546
The idea is great, but it's definitely not mature yet. It would be ideal if gloves could be tracked.
this is for people with home cockpits. they ant to see tgeir own hands and real world controls but look up and see the virtual world
Does it work with the Quest 2 ?
Sadly no, quest 2 doesn't allow pass through camera info for 3rd party or something like that on pcvr
Great video, which VR are you using?
Just work with the steam edition?
No, but you need to be running SteamVR.
@@jonmabec this will be so good for vatsim flying. Thx
Does it work with hp reverb g2
Okey, did see the hole video now;) looking forward to you testing it with a webcam so i can read text.
awesome , can't do without a drink for sure in vr
I had no idea about this capability 😮
thanks for the video...pretty cool stuff.!!
Does it work in pimax 5k+?
As far as I know, no. Feel free to ask the developer on the steam page I have linked to in the description. He is very open to feedback and ideas.
Work with reverb ?
It should work with all WMR HMDs so I suspect the reverb as well.
works, except G2 has low resolution BW cameras.
Reverb g2 works good enough for me to locate physical controls.
I cannot believe i'm just seeing this.. this is an absolute game changer for flight sim.
Indeed! I am very excited to see what this addon can bring when it matures more.
Any idea if the Pico 4 works with this?
I am not sure, but I doubt it. The current HMDs that I know RM is compatible with are Valve Index, HTC Vive (the original Vive), HTC Vive Pro 1 and HTC Vive Pro 2 as well as all Windows Mixed Reality headsets. There are a couple of criteria for it to work: 1. you need to run SteamVR 2. The passthrough cameras on your headset will need to have permission to be accessed by a third party. (Some headsets, like the Quest, does not.) The permission issue may change in the future though when it will support external cameras.
@@jonmabec I'm running MSFS 2020 via SteamVR and Virtual Desktop, but I'm also doubtful that the passthrough cameras can be accessed. I'll do some digging around to see if I can find anyone who's tried it. Thanks for showing this, I hadn't seen it before
There are dedicated vr channnel flight sim channels not covering this subscription easily earned I have a varjo aero so no passthrough cameras I actually did something quite similar to this with my web cam and an app called fsdesktop that allows you to display any open window in your vr headset, and I opened up my webcam and pointed it to my controls. I can’t wait till this software is polished and has the green screen feature added with the ability to use any camera that’s going to be a game changer. My only issue is I don’t use the steam version of flight sim .
That's too bad. RealityMixer sadly only works in SteamVR. My hope is that software like this will become more mainstream and support a variety of different cameras and hmds.
I don't own the Steam version of MSFS , but I use SteamVR, via Virtual Desktop on my Quest2. Works amazingly well. Edit: Just heard in his vid, not supported on Quest 2, until external cameras are supported.
