The chances were that it would be a blank in there, but unfortunately the 33% chance it would be a live round happened.

nice job on the mod! with how complex the new items are, i expected it to take longer to make the dealer smarter with them

It would be super cool if thr developer reached out to you about adding this into the game
I've talked to the developer multiple times, but we both agree that the dealer being "smarter" wouldn't actually make the game better. Like, the current difficulty is pretty nice for a casual audience, and those looking for a more difficult challenge can just download the mod.
I really wished someone did a smart AI and I'm so so happy to see this! Thank you so so much even though I didn't play the game myself and just watched gameplays lol. Also, an idea for the mod: You could create dialogues for dealer for some scenarios. For example when its dealer's turn and there are only 2 live shells left and he knows this, he says "Unlucky..." (ironically of course knowing you are doomed). That would enhance the game even more.
It actually did have some dialogues for when it had a high chance of death or killing, but ended up having to remove it in the latest version. Would've been cool to have some for scenarios like you mentioned though, but I don't feel like programming it in atm lol
now that the steam version released, do you intend to update the smarter dealer AI to be able to use the new items?

Is there any way you can get this to work on the Linux version? I been trying for the past hour and couldn't get it working.
The mod itself should work the same on any version, if there's an issue then it's with the modloader

More information on computers’ number storage: the IEEE standard with varying length mantissas are not pure numbers, merely interpreted as such. They are built of sign, exponent, and number pieces. The overflow must leak into the sign bit and twos complement exponent bits, resulting in small number equivalents.
I think you're mixing floats and integers a bit there
@@itr-dev How so? The game doesn't appear to use ints since the shown score exceeds 32b limit. Unless it's a 64bit int, which the graphics made me assume not. I do not know much about overflow or other flags when it comes to floats, but it or something similar (perhaps simply an unintended operation) appeared the most likely culprit to me.
@@kneehaw8093 64 bit int, yeah. If it was a float then it wouldn't go to negative or zero, it'd have a much larger range lol. And when it got outside that range it would become either nan or infinite
I know It's correct to say that a negative number is a really small number. But my brain cannot help but think 0.00000000001 is a really small number and -500000000 is a really big negative number.
Would it be accurate to say students have a very small amount of debt?

a cheater is basically a player but enable some scanning chamber cheat, which leads to the function as knowing what te next bullet is... while theres only 1% it accidentally shot itself due to small malfunctioning in addiction of the bullet, it maybe live or blank depend on how cheater act, its basically much harder than smart dealer and if its going to be like dealer then buckshot roulette will have an impossible mode

Yeah, because the items are cleared at the end of the round, it values the different ways of killing equally.
I can get the modloader to work (mods is now an option on the main menu) but no matter what I do, I can't figure out how to get the Smarter Dealer to work (isn't available in the mods list on the new menu option ingame). I also can't get a mods folder to generate in the Buckshot installation folder. Anyone found a fix for this?
Just fixed it! I accidentally forgot to zip it correctly
@@itr-dev Now the game aborts when I try to launch it with SmarterDealer in the mod folder, lol. I have the testmod working, so I assume I have everything working. It's just not wanting to cooperate with your mod for some reason. Maybe the Dealer is afraid of me or something.
@@singlikeyoumeanit3261 Weird, I tested it and it worked for me. Try removing the test mod just in case? If you can run the exe from the terminal, then it'll say what goes wrong
