You mentioned that solar and wind do NOT pay their fair share wen it comes to total cost of running the grid. I understand that, but “net metering” is not allowed in some locals so I assume that levels the playing field somewhat. I also heard you list Texas as a reason that we need to be concerned. Therir grid is completely different than our own, and they put corporate profits a head of their people. The reason their grid failed was pure greed, as they knew that the infra structure was defective, but they refused to fix it. Also I would like to know what power plants you refer to that have been shut down prematurely. Maybe they were shut down because they couldnt be retrofitted? I would just like to know what the situation is. And what are Ohio’s co-ops going to do when Brilliant eventually becomes too old to produce the power we need? Thanks for listening.

Listen i am paying $100 for internet access? that is five times maybe ten times the amount I should be paying. I am not even talking about TV Cable that is $200 with more commercials than programing. There is obviously a monopoly if not at least an oligopoly in the Cable service industry and it must be stopped at all costs. If there are commercials during programming then why is a cable subscriber paying huge fees on top of what the cable company is making with commercials??!! Cable companies must be much more heavy regulated and even run as Municipal utilities. Microsoft had much less hold on the computer internet access than cable companies and Microsoft was sued and fined and now regulated for doing much, far less than that of Cable.

The annual road course "touring laps" is a lot like the old races! They can get up to almost 60 MPH on the long straights, and slower (safe) but exciting speed through town, with the help of the many flag people holding back tourists (and golf carts!) during those few minutes the use once a year the race cars ( and speedy street-legal sports cars!) use to show off the event.

  • @toml.8210

Federal laws prohibiting racing on public roads were the biggest reason the Put-in-Bay races ended. The crash near the church didn't help any. This is the same viodeo the Miller Ferry posted!

@@bonanzadriver7261 it takes a while. there are so many different locos. you may know all 2axle trucks are GP and all 3 axle trucks are SD. the 38 has 2 cooling fans on long hood end on top and no car body filters on the sides. the 9 has1 filter on the long hood end on the side and also filters in the center of the car body on the side. the 7 is like the 9 except there is another carbody filter about 2 doors away from the single filter on the end of the carbody. etc other models have different top fan arrangements except the 30 model which has slightly different cab style etc
