Where those engines stand is where the big engines shed was,, but one day the shed caught fire whilst engines were still inside and so they were burnt out, and it was deemed too expensive to recover them and so they were just abandoned there, and because diesel trucks were now more economical to transport timber the site was left abandoned and the remains are still there to this day..The site was rebuilt partially in past years to preserve the historical value of it, and some artifacts were dug up and put on display, but unfortunatly many of these have been stolen..

This is probably the best U.P. vid i've seen. I like how you visited all the trails etc instead of just the main attractions. I haven't seen the giant wheels till now. And that thunder was amazing! Subscribing.

Tip. Leave the shifter on drive. Because if you put it back to neutral and shifting it back to drive while the engine is running, it will eat all your clutch linings. And its a bit expensive and very hard to find one.
