Hey man, i do house cleaning in the Seattle area. 4 years ago Thumbtack was great, we paid a reasonable price per lead ($20-$50) and were able to get pur business started with it. Nowdays they are charginf a minimun of $60, going up to $120 per lead and always pushing for 5 or 6 people to the same costumer. That combined with a lot of people charging dirt cheap for work made it unviable for me in 2024, don't know about others in other areas.

That's the kind I have I hate it, I consider it a waste of money and time. The person who made it obviously didn't pay attention to details. Even when blatantly obvious, still didn't take notice.

yard signs are the best form of marketing. And you can just farm them hundreds and hundreds of signs. Nobody stays consistent

do you have a script we should follow? what are the best questions to ask?

how about this question: 'how soon were you hoping to remove this junk?' Then they will open up about how urgent it ism and you can say great 'would Thursday at x to y work or do you prefer Thursday at a to b'?
