maybe its just not your type of grand stratagy game, i love it honestly. Try quil18's tutorials, its a series "Europa Universalis 4 - Castile - Tutorial for Beginners!", hope this helps if you still have motivation to keep playing
not gonna lie, playing EU4 made me want to play Stellaris. but yeah ig EU4 is not my cup of tea.
