Center Stage is a good dsncing movie. Its not horror, but still good. I really wish she had transformed into a real swan on stage.

One of my very favorite movies ever as well. I showed this to my six year old daughter who didn't get the drag part for a long time. when I told her they were gay men and showed her the beginning a couple of times with Patrick Swayze getting out of the shower she got it. Not that long later she did dress up being "a boy in a dress." Now that she identifies non-binary I look back on that and see why she went that way. I wondered about the staying in drag all move as well. Noxy said at one point "when a gay man has way too much fashion for just one gender, he is a drag queen." So not trans. I think this is just a feature of the story that they are staying in drag for whatever reason. All the gay drag men I know only show up on stage or at a party in drag. Otherwise they are gay men. Just chalk it up to a great movie plot.

Directed by Steve Beck--A HOT SILVER DADDY! My age, LOL. He's a twisted guy though. His next movie "Ghost Ship" was really sick and nightmarish and disturbing.

Another enjoyable reaction. A dopey-fun movie, but the TV show wasn't Shakespeare. Fun fact: before this movie wasn't even a thought, it was a stage play...The Real Live Brady Bunch...and I saw it! The L.A. house was packed and everyone loved it. Years later, I found out that Mrs. Brady was played by an unknown Jane Lynch from "Glee".

So much fun! I'm old enough to have watched this when it first came out. Elvira's Movie Macabre was must see TV back in the day, especially for us gay kids looking for an escape.

@Xavier Not sure you caught it. The town name, Falwell, is after the dead minister, Jerry Falwell, who started "The Moral Majority" Evangelical Christian movement back in the 1980s. His son, who is actually kind of hot, likes to watch his wife get schtupped by the pool boy. No lie; look it up. The senior Falwell started a "University" he named for himself. He also was among the throng who proclaimed that AIDS was God's vengeance on homosexuals. He was a peach, who can now send postcards from Hell. Show Notes: The couple at the hotel are married. A few Boomers and Silent Gen called the mother of their kids "mother," and vice-versa. The former VP Pence does that. Next, that portrait of her "aunt?" That is a real portrait of Cassandra Petersen herself, out of "drag," done by one of her friends. At the end, while strangely, they superimposed her face on the end dance routine's beginning, the titty twirling thing is a real skill she has. She was a Las Vegas Showgirl, who ELVIS PRESLEY told should find herself elsewhere, because that town was no good for her. So she went to California! Where.... End Notes: Her look was created by a drag performer/designer friend, who later died of AIDS. It was after this she got her review show stint, "Elvira's Movie Macabre." One of the best parts of the movie is Noxi talking to Vita before she goes upstairs to stop the fighting and you completely cut it up, that part you should've let play out.

H4 is my fave in the series. Really the only bad thing is the mask, and even with that the mask is so bad that it’s kinda creepy.
