Many, many years ago, we'd order M151 transfer case shift levers and attached them to the M35, M52 and M809 series truck transfer levers with cable clamps. That way you didn't have lean all the down to shift. You could keep your eyes on the road.

Jason, I've got two 77's. It looks from the air cleaner like you might have the 400 c.i. engine. I've got a 400 in a Cougar wagon, and it can burn rubber. Great looking car. There are some things you can do to reduce the weight in front. Summit Racing sells a reasonably priced aluminum water pump. You can replace the heavy cast iron intake manifold with an Edelbrock aluminum manifold. Try to keep that original Ford carburetor. Eventually the steering gear box will start to leak fluid. These can be rebuilt, and you can probably find rebuilt ones somewhere. IF you can't, I have a guy in Miami Springs who specializes in rebuilding steering gears and power steering pumps. Just ask me if you need that. He's rebuilt several for me. NAPA may also have them. At 46 years old, you need to check various hoses, vacuum lines and fuel line hoses for age and cracks. Also windshield fluid lines, etc. You have cruise control, and may have the tilt steering wheel option.

0-60 is what torque gets you,above 60 is when HP kicks which there is not much on 78 any American car,152 HP for 78 cougar doesn't get far from 60MPH

Did you ever figure this out? I saw this in Anchorage a lot and people would just say “ it’s the wind” but just like your video there was no wind and the other lines would be still. One electrician, that was not a lineman told me that it’s an optical illusion. Not sure how but he said when the lineman are up at the line they can’t see it shaking.

Being the owner of a crappy C9 I can attest to the fact that it will cycle IF.. You completely strip and polish the barrel, take the mag apart and stretch the spring Bend out the lips on the mag, don’t run the mag 100% full. I keep it in my go bag. I carry my M&P shield daily and keep my SIG next to my pillow. Pro tip of the day, if you decide to strip and polish the slide, DO NOT USE MURATIC ACID I learned the hard way that the slide is a zink allow and it went volcanic when I dropped it in the acid to remove the coating. I bought a new one for $50 and will be back in action in a couple of days.

I bought the Hi Point after market stick on gripes but you need a Hot Gun to put it on and my son borrowed mine to shrink wrap some crap on his car. The gun is junk, made of shit materials (pot metal slide, MIM parts and non reinforced plastic) and your laser sight is not designed for the recoil of a firearm, it will lose its zero after first shot. You’ll see.
