TC Electronic Ditto X2 Looper [In-Depth] Tutorial and Review
Просмотров 99 тыс.9 лет назад
Listeners are Recommend To Use Headphones! The Ditto X2 Looper by TC Electronic is an amazing looper. Being the big brother of the Ditto Looper, the Ditto X2 has all the same features as the original Ditto Looper with some bells and whistles. The Ditto X2 features friendly functionality and user interface. The Ditto X2 also has and FX that can control Reverse and 1/2 Speed Effects and a Stop fu...
The dip switches configure the way it records and plays back. They are in the battery compartment.
Appreciate this !
This is the Ultimate Tutorial for the X2. Everything on here. Well, except for the switches inside the battery compartment. Don't know what they're for. Great job.
At about 2:24 he mentions the loop switch having Rec/Play/Dub functionality. That's the default mode for the pedal. If you flip one of the switches (refer to the manual), then it will be put into Rec/Dub/Play mode. As far as the other dip switch is concerned....I can't find any info on that.
Great video! I have a doubt on this pedal, and it is if you can only store one loop or backing track in it?
This is a Good demo… Îve never heard such a clear & concise explanation… thanksgiving
This is the best tutorial on this pedal on the internet... bought one halfway through. Thank you, mate!
Very nice. Amy Winehouse vibes.
Very helpful! Thanks!
I was so disappointed when I found out stereo wasn't a stereo signal, but merely the second channel of a stereo signal, so now I have to buy adapters.
So are you saying that you need a computer or similar to save your songs there's no facility on the machine to save tracks?
there's one key piece of information missing from the manual AND your tutorial - HOW DO YOU SHUT THE DAMN THING OFF!
Sorry I’m new to this but I got my answer from reading through the other comments, that you can only store one at a time. I guess either from the computer or something you created. If I’m wrong let me know. Thanks again. Great job explaining.
How many random backing tracks can you store in the Ditto X2 Looper from your computer and how would you play all of them back as well as store them all with the button controls on the pedal?
Great video! Something I haven’t figured out yet and don’t know if it’s possible but let’s say you have 3 overdubs and you click and hold to erase the most recent one. Can you click and hold again to erase the 2nd? I’m finding you can only erase the most recent one unless I’m mistaken?
Great demo...thanks so much for sharing!
Thank you so much for putting this together!!! Brand new to getting a loop pedal and this helped a ton!
Can I do 2 mono inputs and out 1 summed mono output? (For example, left mono acoustic guitar input and right mono drum pedal and then out left mono output into my Boss Ve-8 mono input)
gracias!!!!!!
I’m still not sure how to use the stereo feature. If I want to use two amps how should I have my ditto configured if it’s the last signal in my pedal board? Thanks
👍🏿
Can you put 2 instruments in and get 1 mono out?
Jake, I'm thinking of getting a Ditto X2 and daisy-chaining it with other TC pedals. Is it a problem for the looper to include it in the chain? Does that would affect sound quality somehow for example? And another question. Is it possible to get the reverse FX without recording a loop?
At the beginning it was "despacito"
How to with John Wilson, eh, Jake Kricket... great video!
Exceptional work Jake - to the point and detailed! Subscribed.
very good review.. I'd forgotten how to use mine.. Having issue with my computer Win 11 not recognizing looper ...
Whenever I dig my x2 out , I’ve always forgotten how it works 🤷🏻♂️… your vid helps me remember 😀👍🏻
This was an amazing demo video. Thank you for all this information. Blessings.
Dude thank you for this! The stop function (around 8:00) is gold for me. Especially when you’re playing and singing. You don’t want to have to focus on holding the button down or clicking twice. I have the single-button Ditto but will more than likely upgrade to the X2
Can you store more than one loop at a time? Or only one? Thanks :)
My daughter bought this a few years ago. I didn't know anything about loopers back then (a little more now). So now I use it. It's pretty basic but this video at least outlined it all for me. I think I'll mover on to a new looper pedal. Thanks man!
Yeah I followed it dummy...I'm not THAT dumb...today.
Had this pedal for ages. I've always used the right foot switch for stopping / deleting and so forgot you could wipe just the most recent overdub by holding the left switch. Very useful. One minor point I find it keeps my loops during power off even if I don't specifically 'store' them. I think storing is just for transfer to PC/Mac
Beautiful music! Greetings from Colombia, keep in the good path!
Thank you a million percent!
Your backing track is straight up It Feels Good to be a Gangster, Office Space. Cool! Thanks for the lesson! 👏👏👏
Thanks a lot! I ordered this exact one.
nice demo, thank you!
Absolutely killer...
Second comment
you're so cute omg great video
great video! I was using my buddy's x2 at our last jam (I have one too) and there were a few things I forgot your video covered them all! thanks
Nice demo thanks!
Thanks for this. Where in the signal chain should this go? Before the gain stage of an amp, or in the effects loop?
Jake, I’ve owned a Ditto X2 Looper for a least a year or more and never used it. I have been staring at it, wanting to know how to use it for all that time. Now that I’ve found your video, I’m ready to do just that. Thanks! The only question I have is can I use is on a Spark amp?
Hey thanks for the video. Very helpful.😊👍 I am unable to figure out how to get the pedal to switch from classic mode to practice mode. I have the manual but it doesn't seem to be working. are you able to get yours to switch between practice mode and classic mode and I think the other one is called beatsense mode? If so I'd love to see a short demo on that. Thanks for your help!
I bought this pedal about 3 years ago and never used it, now I know how it works, thank you.
Excellent explanation and demo. Thanks for taking the time to do this demo.
Leaping loopers, Finally! A perfect tutorial/demo - seemingly, the rarest of accomplishments! Thank you and respect!
What format can be uploaded into the looper from my laptop? WAV only or mp3, mp4?
