Last detecting session of the year spent with my Dad on one of his permissions. The weather in the day was extremely windy with the odd shower, so like a fool I decided not to film the days finds.
The day started of pretty slow with just the odd modern coin and bits of tat showing for myself and the odd toasted George 3rd copper coins for my Dad. Just before lunch I hit a nice line heading back to the car, I had several Georgian copper coins and a toasted cartwheel Penny.
After lunch, Dad and I decided to stick with the first field the car was parked in as we had both had a few coins out of it. My plan was to stick to perimeter of the field and go across its diagonals. First pass across t...
