yes, to make it easy to open/close the lid of dry box, just lossen and rotate the RAM mount holder down toward the gear shift. Once you put something in, just rotate the RAM mount back into position and tighten it back up.

Misty - I purchased a RAM Mount backing plate for about $8 on-line. Here is the part number that you can search for: RAM mount back plate - RAM-202-225BU

The batteries are not easy to find with the connector pin on the ends. This is a Cabela's exclusive edition according to their website. I purchased it from Cabela's in Nov 2018, during a sale around Thanksgiving for I believe ~$600. The specific model is the Kimber Micro 9 CSE LG (Crimson Trace Laser Grips) if you google it or look it up in Cabela's web site.

Glad this helped you. I had looked for a video as I was preparing to install mine, but did not find one. So, I decided to put something together and contribute back to the RUclips community.

I started the generator today and checked across the terminals of the switch with multimeter = 5V. I also checked from switch terminal to engine block = 5V. I confirmed the switch is a normally open switch design, as the generator will shut down when you place a metal probe across both terminals simulating a closed switch.

I have not had any oil burning at all, either before I made the modification or after I have made it. When checking and changing the oil, it does use any noticeable amount.

I am glad the video was helpful. I used my Honda generator this past weekend, and it started on the first pull just like when it was new. I think you will be pleased with the kit.

When it was new out of the box, the laser was shooting a little high and to the left. It comes with the tool (little allen key) to adjust the point of impact. After making the adjustment, the laser is very accurate at 30 feet. I have tried to make a short video, but my camera just will not pick up the red dot with daylight like my eyes do. i can see the dot in pretty bright daylight against the target, but when reviewing on the camera you can't see it. Anyway, my experience is the laser can be adjusted and is accurate.

I agree, it would be great in Kimber would at least provide one extra magazine.

Yes I'm sure I did. I was just glad to find this video and that it was pretty easy to do. Like I said, Panaonic said it couldn't be done and that I would have to replace it. Right.
