I look for a combination of travel and music. Videos of all description are brought to life with the selection of an appropriate track of music. My videos are from all around the world with a special concentration on Australia - the Australia on the other side of the Great Divide.

This was our second trip to Cape York, this time with friends. The difference is we went the long way there. Via western NSW and Qld then back east and up to the Tip. I hope you enjoy it.

After Kruger we moved onto a second must see - Chobe National Park. Where Kruger was open and dry with far reaching plains where the animal roam, to a water based park with rivers and creeks and villages reying on the rivers for transport and food.

Part of the tour was a boat ride down the Ganges to Kolkata. It's how the other half lives - from the hustle and bustle of the major cities and towns to a relative peaceful side of Indian life on the river. From trading, batheing, washing or commuting, the Ganges is alive.

Our first outing in India was a rickshaw ride through the street and back lanes of old Delhi. What a ride!!! the strange thing was we never saw an accident or argument on the time we spent travelling and walking through this interesting part of the city.

A song about 'a Prisoner Island hidden in the summer for a million years?' My respects to you as it is indeed an inspirational tune. But as with other catchy rifts or harmoneys the lyrics are not representative of the Nation or of the people. You may as well have 'Midnight Oil's -'Beds are Burning' or some ACDC song as your National Anthem as they too are are very catchy.
@@MikeGreenwood51 Prisoner island is in my interpretation is not just about the convict era. If you look at the geology it is a sort of prison, but one that preserves. Not only in terms of ancient culture, but also many ancient life forms elder to the Earth. 100% appropriate second anthem and lyrics if you ask me.
Arrived here as a young Pome in the late 80's, this song always reminds me of my first solo walks in the bush. Goosebumps indeed. 👍

In Sydney they make more of a fuss celebrstion for Chinese new year compared tp Australia day. That is so sad. Having lived in another country for a bit it seems so sad that you travel to another country just to not embrace that place.
Australia day is controversial as it celebrates the date when British invaded and took the land from it's ancient custodians.
