Good to know👍i haven’t had my Pro long and mine is set at 3 degrees which going by the video if all machines are the same is actually 5,so if 5 degrees is actually nearer 7 beers like Old Perculiar should be fine logically,quick question,i have half a keg of stella in mine at the moment,can i take that out and connect a different beer without the removed one going flat?obviously id put the half keg back in the fridge.

Can you only return kegs you've purchased through your account on PD or will they accept any kegs you send them (ie bought in a shop)

Came across your channel and loving your reviews, especially the PD ones - I've bought myself a PD machine but it's still in the box. I'm planning on setting it up this weekend and sticking in it either the Frankie Royal or the Lowenbrau. I've loved weiss beer for years and one tip I'd give you is not to use a nucleated glass for them, they generate way too much carbonation and taste loads smoother in a non-nucleated one.

Great review. Not a good Weiss, sadly. I too, picked up on it tasting like Erdinger, which to me, is the Carling of German Weissbier. Lol! It’s drinkable, but tasted of nothing. For your remaining bottles, use your Franziskaner glass you have there, the Amstel glass is nucleated and will ruin the mouthfeel of the beer by fizzing it up too much. Love having you back. Straw-yellow, clear beer with a light head. Grassy, ​​floral aroma. Tastes of light honey, grain, flowers. Finish has a hint of mustiness. Still quite solid.

Im sure this was the one Simon raved about. I thought it was going to blow my socks off, I found it to be decent but I wouldn't be upset if I never saw it again.

drinking dark one, original is good as a beer, but vyčepny (from barrel) is a bit rocher in its beer taste and probably less bitter than original, i highly suggest trying dark (tmavy lezak) budejovicky budvar, because it is like a rich taste dark beer that is so close to the taste of kvas (arsenijivskij from Ukraine, if you tried it you would drink it for senteries) but it is like a beer with slight beer (maltiness as you say) taste but with bitterness and zero sugarness (compared to good kvas) that is a sign that this fizzy tasty drink is actually a beer; i cant really drink anything else whenever i have ability to buy dark budweiser (faq american plaguiated bud, that one is horrible in comparison with magnificent richness of greatest taste of every budweiser beer) because in Poland i a m currently in there is nothing like this good tasting dark beer, that resembles me of a taste of a great cold kvas with its sugarness and taste of soakingly fresh dark bread toast just right off out toaster instead of maltiness this dark lagger has. this is not like a beer i used to drink this one is drunk only for taste

Yeah, no question, Lowenbrau Oktoberfest is one of the truly amazing German biers, one of my all-time personal favorites, especially once the weather starts to cool down, a perfect late-summer/early autumn brew. I don't want to sound like a broken record regarding how incredibly low prices are here in Poland compared to the USA (where I was born & raised) the U.K. or Western Europe, but just last week, a local Krakow chain of liquor stores had an incredible sale on 1/2 liter bottles of Lowenbrau Oktoberfest, (these are original German imported bottles, not contract brewed under licence in some other country) for 2 zloty per bottle, which is an unbelievable 75 pence per liter (or about one US dollar.) I bought 12 bottles, but sadly when I went back the next day to buy a couple of cases, they had sold out (I tried a couple of other locations, but no luck) but still, to get 6 liters of one of my favorite German imports for less than 5 GBP is hard to wrap my head around... Can you get Guinness on the Perfect Draft?

A little nitpick, the so-called "Big Six" breweries that are allowed to sell their beer at Oktoberfest (Paulaner, Spaten, Lowenbrau, Augustiner, Hacker-Pschorr and Hofbrauhaus) are all specifically located in Munich. Breweries in all other German cities or regions are not legally allowed to sell any beer labeled "Oktoberfestbier" but instead must use the term "Fest Bier". Just a little bit of friendly German legal trivia from an American who lives in Poland (who last night was drinking Austrian bier...😆) Cheers from Krakow, Matthew

Absolutely LOVE Bitburger, one of the best widely available authentic German pilsners, ALWAYS brewed in Germany, never under contract in a different country. I am also a big fan of Warsteiner, Radeberger and Konig Pilsener, which as far as I know are all also exclusively German brewed, but overall, I think Bitburger might be my favorite. (and on principle, I refuse to buy any contract brewed, so-called "Imported" beers. They do everything they can to deceive consumers and offer an inferior product, typically at almost the same price as an actual true import. Why would I want to drink a Birra Moretti brewed in Warsaw or a Stella Artois brewed in Chicago? What a joke.)

Love your bar, we are in the process of building the very same cabin so getting some great ideas from your set up.
