I worked as a police officer in Afghanistan and I also have worked as a PSD team leader and Armored vehicles driver with American military in Afghanistan. right now I’m a US citizen so based on my experience, do you think this job would be compatible for me if not what would you recommend? Thanks,
Hi! It sounds like a career in criminal investigation could be a great fit for you. Full disclosure - I am not the criminal investigator in the video, I am the person who interviews all of these different professionals. But, having interviewed several people in law enforcement, it definitely sounds like you have the right skill set. The only caveat I can think of is that a lot of agencies may require you to start from the bottom and work your way up into the criminal investigator position. For example, all the investigators at our local Sheriff's Office started by working in the jail, then they were deputies (on the road), then were promoted to investigators. I'd recommend contacting agencies in your area and ask their advice as well. You can also watch Toby's full 25-min interview on our website at getperspectiv.com. Hi! Thanks for watching. I am the founder of Perspectiv, but I also worked in the film industry for 12 years. Paul is a dear friend and I can elaborate more on what he means. As a set dresser our typical work day is 6am to 6:30pm. We are considered “off production” crew and our schedule is not usually affected by what the filming crew is doing (a lot of times “on-production” crew members can have really tough schedules due to long hours, nights shoots, etc.) We still work 60+ hours a week, but having a (fairly) set schedule allows you to make time to go to the gym, grocery store, etc. and your sleep stays somewhat regular. What's the pay like?
Hi Joe! Thanks for watching. In their interview they say that starting out you make about $20/hour. However, you can get A LOT of overtime. For a two week job you can expect to make between $3300-3800 if you're just starting out. They also said it's easy to move up and get raises within their company. 4 years behind on orders? i know he is good, but in my humble opinion, that is really radicicols! why would you wait 4 years? you might be dead in 4 years! you can keep an eye out on muzzleloading forums and a lot of other places and find a used custom-built gun ready to go! and for a lot less than he would charge! in 4 years i might be out the notion,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
