We saw a growing need for low-risk, low-cost, and easy-to-use automation solutions catered towards small/medium shops needing to boost productivity amid the shortage of skilled labor - so we started Vectis in early 2019.
With several hundred systems in the field and the largest cobot fabrication install base in North America, our mission remains the same as when we started: provide the lowest-risk and easiest-to-use automation solutions at an accessible price.

Is there an option to have to the robot continue welding without having to hold the yellow buttons on the back of the tablet?
Has a lot of issues tracking with weldthruc's
One suggestion is to watch our Academy video on seam tracking. There are several suggestions to ensure it is programmed and setup correctly. We're also more than happy to advise on your specific application. Reach out to your Vectis representative or Support@VectisAutomation.com for assistance.
Why do I have such a hard time with weldthruc's? It tracks upward around curves then back in the joint for straights.

Is this a new model, purchasable add on or possibly a purchasable software update?

All software upgrades are free for life. The QuickTeach hardware is available as a self-retrofit on our Parts Store.

Yes on all your questions. Performing a circular shape in the vertical position is possible, but may require updating the weld process at specific regions of the weld, but it is possible.

How do you deal with safety requirements with this set up? Light curtains/area scanners? How is this safe for operators? How do you block the arc to prevent damage to eyes?
