On my channel you will see a variety of W&LE, Norfolk Southern, and CSX. I also do model railroading and I try to post as much as I possibly can.

Awesome Video of CASS Jeff. Hope you had a great time. We are going back soon to ride the Durbin Line and stay in one of the Company Houses. These are some Excellent Views.
@@jebbthetrainkid1281 Thanks, it was a very nice time. I’d like to take a ride on the Durbin line. I’m glad they reopened it.
Nice catch man, got to love some steam action!
@@RandomRailfan828 thanks, yep can’t beat it.
Love the video
@@maryannfyler3828 thank you
Joseph our grandson was there and he enjoyed it.
25:06 Love the "same time" whistles! Sounds so good!
Yeah me too, it was extremely loud in person, my mic on my camera started to go crazy as they got closer.
Oh that's interesting that that happens to your camera
Love this ❤great video
Thanks
That's awesome jeff ❤
Thanks
Nice video, Like!!!
Those big Cass Lima-built Shays are awesomely powerful machines, state of the geared locomotive art when steam was sadly replaced by diesel-electrics. Long live the legacy of Ephraim Shay!
cool video, any chance you can get some footage of the crypto mine at the south end?
Nice footage 👍
Thanks
Do you know when these trains run, and if csx still runs on here? I’m thinking of heading up there this year, thanks!
Wheeling and Lake Erie mainly runs late at night usually between 9pm and 3am and CSX barely runs on this line, maybe a few coal trains a year.
@@jeffstrains ok, thank you!
Great, I think the music makes it 10 times better
Thanks, I tried to find music that was non copyright which was a bit difficult. I was hoping the music didn’t get repetitive after the 9 minutes.
It's cool how you were able to go up all the way in there if I'm standing at Miller near the crossing, my drone will lose connection because the antennas are being unstructured by the trees so it can't get a good signal, my dad's goes up a little bit farther then mine, but not like yours, that was some sick flying, keep it up Jeff
Thanks, I drove out on Sinfield Rd behind the mine to get some shots. I’ve always seen coal train videos from the front but I was really curious to actually see what the mine looked like so I thought why not take a look. The drone really helps with trying to get exact matches for my model railroad too. My next trip out to Hopedale I’d like to catch a W&LE coal train of some sort at the mine, I think that would be a neat video. But thanks for the comment, I should have more videos soon. Jeff
@jeffstrains I kinda figured you did because if you didn't you might have lost the drone I k ow I have about lost my twice.... when will I ever learn 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@countryroadrailproductions2008 from miller crossing to the end of the mine was like a mile and a half or something like that and I didn’t want to push the limits on the drone, especially because I had just bought it and didn’t want to lose it. Maybe I’ll see you out there some time.
@@jeffstrains maybe if I can ever get a chance to get out on the high iron hear lately I haven't been able to, although I am fi ally getting caught up on all of my other videos that I have, since my computer was out of commission for like a month.
@@countryroadrailproductions2008 Yeah, I’ve been going a bit more than usual since it’s summer time but I’d like to go out a few times a week but I don’t really have the time. Just been kinda sticking to modeling for a little while on my other channel and then I post on this channel here and there when I get a chance.
Like the music and video!!
Thanks
Hey Jeff I love the channel I was wondering if there’s a schedule for trains thru Yorkville I’d love to railfan it and see when trains are coming thru or any surrounding areas of Yorkville where it’s a good spot to railfan thanks and hope to hear back soon
Even if I can railfan with you lol🤣
Hey Dakota, there is no set schedule for these trains which is kinda crappy but they usually run late at night. This train was here in Yorkville around 12:30am but I catch most of these trains just by luck. But Yorkville is definitely a good spot to catch them if you can.
I like the look but I preferred the AVR name to carload express
I like the AVR too
Nice video never seen that one before 🍕
Thanks
Great video. I've never seen that 513. Correct me if im wrong, but is that a switcher that belongs to the Warrenton Coal Dock, and this looks like it was in Warrenton/Rayland
Yeah warrenton owns it but W&LE uses it quite a bit. Yep it was shot in Rayland.
🎊 P r o m o s m
108 is awesome!
I like the old yellow logo and it has nice K5.
Nice work
Thanks
Awesome video jeff glad you caught it ❤🤜🏻🤛🏻🤘🏻
Thanks
Great catch
Thanks
Was that Saturday night?
Yeah
Terrific Video Sir 😎
Thank you
@@jeffstrains Your welcome Mr Friend 😎
Commenting because I set that run up yesterday lol.
I’m guessing they were from 218. I tried catching 218 in Mingo Junction this morning but I never know when it’s gonna go through there. I’ve only caught it about twice there and it was at very different times.
@@jeffstrainsYep. Set that power up last night for that run.
@@CDROM-lq9iz do you know when 218 leaves Brewster in the morning?
@@jeffstrains sorry but that I'm not allowed to tell you. Train schedules are something I'm not allowed to say.
@@CDROM-lq9iz that’s fine, I had a feeling you wouldn’t be allowed to tell me but I thought I’d give it a shot and ask.
Nice camera clarity. Good job 👍
Thanks.
Looks awesome jeff 👍🏻🤜🏻🤛🏻
Thanks
Great video. Loud ass horn!
It sure was.
Awesome catch enjoyed your video keep up the great work thanks again and have a awesome weekend
Thanks, you too.
Awesome closeup video jeff 👍🏻
Thanks.
Great video jeff 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Thanks.
Like the scenery 👌
Good video 👍
Thanks
I dont think they could have been going any slower than that, 😂😂 great video
I know, it felt like forever 😂, thanks.
Great share nice paint scheme on these locomotives awesome video Jeff 😎🚂🫵
They are very unique, Thanks for watching.
Thats awesome brother
Thanks
Hi Nose in the house! 🚂😎👍
very nice 🐎🐎🐎🦓🦓🦓👍👍😊😊😊
That horn is the loudest I've heard!
It was quite loud.
Awsome video, I did not think they went that fast down the river sub, but they were crusin.
Track speed is about 40-45.
That’s what I’ve heard.
@jeffstrains interesting cause I have a timetable that says the max speed it 25 and in some spots 10mph. Bet yet again that timetable dates all the way back to July 15th of 2008 😂😂😂😂
@@countryroadrailproductions2008 idk, back then I’m pretty sure the line still had jointed rail. It’s all continuous welded rail now.
@jeffstrains that's probably why the speed changed. I'm working on creating the Weeling & Lake Erie as well as the Ohio Central in Train Sim Classic, and I'm just going off what the timetable says the speed is.
Cool vid 😎
Thanks
Amazing footage, lots of night shots, but hey you shoot what ya can shoot, keep up the great work, and stay safe.
Thanks, yeah gotta love the night shots.
I take it this was on the River Sub
Yep, coming from National Lime and Stone.
@jeffstrains I'm not sure where that's at, but it's obviously somewhere on the river sub 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@countryroadrailproductions2008 yeah that’s usually where I catch most wheeling stuff.
@@jeffstrains well ya catch what ya can catch
