Awesome design. I can see these seats also being used for camping to sleep on. I like all the D-rings you added as they are always needed for lashing down gear. Time to hit my local Costco store.

Very nice! I'm a big fan of a kayak/paddle board combo as it gives me both sports. When in rough water and/or fast current, I sit on my stadium seat for stability or even with a long paddle where I get tired of standing, I sit for awhile and paddle. I mostly use my single blade paddle board paddle, but for extra speed and cadence, the twin blade kayak paddle is the way to go. If you have a kid or dog you want to take along, this is where the 11'-12' board is great and necessary for camping gear too. Stability is much better with the longer and wider boards too. This Yukon hybrid looks great!

As a beginner board, as a board to learn on, as a board to experience the thrill of surfing...these boards absolutely suck. They could have made them just 3" wider and maybe 6" longer, and given stability to the newby & make them a new lifelong surfer. But, noooooo... make 'em skinny, short, cheap & profitable.

Poorly made. Outer coating was off center when bought from CostCo. Later, after a half dozen uses, the outer coating bubbled up. I keep the board in a board bag inside. Love Gerry. Not this board.

I have done very similar with woodglut designs.

Just bought one at Costco. Classic design, looks tight for the price (135.00). Looking forward to getting into the water with it soon.

I rented one to surf at Doheny and was pleasantly surprised. It was a thick board with a lot of float for an 8 foot board. I caught waves easily. It was possible to get into the waves early.
