Poseidon casts looks like it'll be good with Momus on paper, but because it knocks enemies back it's actually quite a poor match. I think Zeus's cast would probably be a better option.

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH EVERYBODY! The Keepsakes look so good! The Silken Sash looks like the thing Arachne is weaving in the background of her character art, which is so cute! With their new looks I have to say my favorite on aesthetics alone are: Metallic Droplet, Purest Hope, Blackened Fleece, Crystal Figurine (god I hope it's not a sailor she turned to crystal), the Silken Sash, the Experimental Hammer, and the Transcendant Embryo. I miss old Momus, the healing was actually really good. Not to say the new one is bad. It's really strong for Omega Focus builds with the right hammers... but I really really miss the healing from old Momus. I really love that they buffed Wands (and I already liked wands) and the change to Eos is very very good. I like it a LOT more than the return to sender gimmick. It didn't work with some of the Hammers you expected it to work with. Thanatos' aspect is more interesting now. Mortality is an interesting Buff, and works well with the faster attack speed. Aspect of Mel on the Axe rework is actually less interesting, just a flat mana and HP increase. Like it's good, don't get me wrong, but... just flat buffs aren't as interesting. And yeah, I still think Aspect of Persephone is the best skull but man... this feels like a Nerf. Especially when going into runs with low or no mana. Oof, that Chaos Boon was not good, losing a death Defiance that soon into a 20 Fear Run against Chronos. Yeesh. HERA ZEUS DUO BOON PLUS 8 ON BASIC ATTACK? Holy shit, now I really do wanna try that Zeus Hera Hephestus combo with the Boonless Duo I was thinking about. Homer seems to be running out of reasons for Melinoe to go back to her tent "My keys, oh well, better leave my frozen in time family behind. Return to shadow now." LOL I am liking this new Patch, and I'm very glad I've managed to convince you that you'll have to face Typhon on Olympus. It is one of the few creatures that ever gave the Gods of Olympus pause. Dike hits and kills Adikia with a mallet or hammer 🔨. Then Dike praises her father Zeus for banishing Adikia and sending her to the Tartarus Dungeon. Dike will ensure that injustice and wrongdoing will never exist.

Though her attributes are golden apple, hissing snake, burning torches, poniard, and African Blackwood, mortals DO NOT worship her. So Eris lives in Tartarus, Mansion of Night, Chaos with her parents, grandparents, and siblings like Nemesis, Thanatos, Hypnos, and many others. During the Trojan War, Eris never sided with Ares. She had just been summoned by Zeus to send a message to the Spartans just as her nephew Morpheus did.

IDK if it work and it takes a bit of luck boon wose, but Demeter's local climate, Hera's engagement ring (I think that's the right one) and Apollos Mana Gain could potentially be interesting. Since the cast follows you and Apollos makes it so you gain Mana in your casts. Edit: made the comment after the Olympus run so no idea if you already thought of this.

RUN 1 - PAN! Oh boi Hera. Why they got to give some of the best Boons to her when she is so casually cruel. You really did build today's run for me huh? Aspect of Pan with a Hitch Focus? As much as we can detest her, her Boons are amazing! Makes sense considering you can't even get her Boons until you make the surface. Continuing on Hera as she seems to be the focus this run, she called the Mortals Ungrateful when they claim the Gods have forsaken them because all they can see is destruction while you guys are fighting on Olympus against (hopefully) Typhon. This is the exact reason why Chronos was able to come back. Of course, despite her place as both an Earth Goddess, Queen of the Gods, and the Goddess of Marriage and Ceremony... She doesn't have almost any love for mortalkind at all. The fact that Zeus keeps going around and sleeping with them only seems to make her distaste for Mortals even stronger. RUN 2 - THAN! Another Hitch run? You spoil me! 😁 Well if we are continuing to talk of the Queen of the Gods, it does make sense she tells you to stay guarded. I'm sure she has had to stay guarded herself, the one time she did try to get at Zeus instead of his Offspring for his infidelity, it backfired spectacularly, hopefully someone will mention it. Idk why, but Posiedon talking so fondly about his Trident is actually super cute, idk why. 😅 Using the Hammer against Chronos! This episode was made for me! Thank you so much! YEAH! HEPHESTUS! This Royal Ransom Duo Boon has a different effect depending on which of the two you're getting this Duo Boon from. *King's* Ransom (which you get from Zeus) removes all of *Hera's* Boons, while *Queen's* Ransom (which is what Hera grants) takes away all of Zeus'. You actually would've wanted to take King's Ransom, as it would've powered up Zeus' Boons.

Damn, you know it's serious when even Zeus is like "Hey Mel... we could actually use some help up here." I feel like my bet that it is Typhon is becoming better and better. Also, Chronos dissing Hera when Rhea betrayed him, the irony is not lost on me. The Hera Duo Boon with Zeus is really really cool, I think doing like a Hitch Focused run, it might be insanely powerful! Speaking of insanely powerful. I think the Blackened Fleece works super well with Aspect of Persephone. Especially after the patch where Omega Moves are the only way to get Glory. Makes sense that Narcissus can defend himself. In most of his legends, Ole Daffodil was a world renowned hunter and soldier. Of course that meant nothing to the Vengence Goddess who decided to punish him. (Although he doesn't seem to find it very punishing lol) Wow Echo gave a useless Boon. I guess that's the risk you get when borrowing from a previous run but oof. She's usually way more helpful. OH MY FUCK THE CRASH! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! That sucks so so much, like holy fuck sending you back to the start like that is so unfair. At least you managed to get similar stuff for the second run 😅 Speaking of the other Titans and Demeter mentioning Hyperion. Chronos wasn't exactly super popular, even among his own kind. But I don't see any reason the other living Titans would enjoy the return of the Golden Age, aside from maybe Atlas. Granted, the dead ones would probably enjoy being brought back. Oh crap. I was looking online for Greek myths where people are turned into things, and apparently Chelone was a nymph that decided to skip Zeus’ wedding to Hera, claiming that she preferred to stay home. As punishment, Hermes transformed her into a tortoise, forced to carry her home on her back. And now Hermes carries her around between the Underworld and the Land of the Living all the time.

I feel like there should be more ways for you to get money in this game when you are doing a surface run because in Hades we had Shops and Charon Wells, but in Hades 2 we also have Hermies Shop as well

I like your Hades II videos the best because the others I tried watching only seemed to focus on video game mechanics, but you never skip dialogues and are invested in the plot/characters. I enjoyed your analyses of Heracles and Medea.

Medea would know much about deep betrayals, considering what Jason did to her. It's very much obvious why they made Medea the way they did. Her story is one of tragedy and pain, anger against those that did Her wrong. And Jason did a hell of a lot wrong. The Gods didn't do Her many favors either. Which of course matches her well with the other encounter in Ephyra, Heracles, who also has his own issues with the gods, Hera above all, of course. She hates him just for being alive, just for being a symbol of Zeus' unfaithfulness, just because she can't do anything to Zeus for it. Heracles was promised Godhood, a place at his father's side as the God of Strength, and instead was accidentally slain by his second wife, with a poisoned shawl. Honestly, neither of them have good feelings towards Hera. Maybe have an Iridescent Fan Hera based run on the surface. I'd like to see if either of them have anything to say about her. I audibly cheered when I saw you go for the Mana Buff in Ephyra. Seriously, you need to go for it more often when you are doing these low Mana runs. Especially with a Vow of Arrogance on. That being said, Hecate's Keepsake is better for much higher Mana Runs than the surface run. although zeus is one of the best gods(gameplay wise) in hades 1, i hate the guy, especially because of the way he treated everybody else when i got the duos, even Poseidon being soo full of himself wasn't as infuriating as zeus
